Kermit: Breaking news, as foretold by Dictator Ztar, everything plunged into madness. But Professor E. Gadd believed he had something that will save us.

E. Gadd: Thanks Kermit, what we're seeing here is the biggest public Wi-Fi service tower. Now everyone can enjoy free Wi-Fi as they please. It's even claimed to save this planet, by giving everyone the biggest virtual ball drop in history.

Kermit: Are you saying this giant block here's part of the show.

E. Gadd: Let's go with that. & by the push of this button, (simply pushes it) we got nothing to worry about.

(The tower then creates a giant shield that protects Earth against the weapon)

???: Oh come on!

SMG4: Huh, what do you know. Looks like we have only the army to worry about.

Mario: What if they try attacking the tower?

Maya: I'll go.

Meggy: What?

Maya: It's my fault that we got ourselves into this mess, & i had to fix it.

Mario: You sure you can do this? You're gonna fight our friends for crying out loud.

Maya: Trust me. I'm an advanced cloaking genocidic artificial lifeform with spit that heals myself. I can do this just fine.

SMG4: We're counting on you.

~Mindscape~

(Currently, the planet's gone under fire as the Reapers start destroying the landscape)

Kirby 1: The giant squid demons are gonna destroy us all!

Young Lo: What's happening?

Purple Kirby: I don't know, but please stick together.

Zel: Should we do anything about this?

Lo: No. These are my memories & we can't even tamper them.

Zel: It can't get even more heartbreaking, can it?

(Suddenly, the Reaper had struck to Lo's old friends, shattering his heart. As the Reaper starts attacking him, an older Kirby in glasses saved him)

Mom Kirby: Don't worry sweetie, mom's got you.

Lo: Ho boy, here we go.

~11:50, Massive WiFi Tower~

Ztar: Alright Chaos, let's wreck this joint. They'll think it's faulty & our weapon will be secure.

Maya: Not if i can help it. (surprise attacks Chaos)

Chao: Let go of me, you worm!

Maya: This is so not you, roomie. You have to snap out of it!

(Meanwhile on the mindscape, Mom Kirby has arrived on the planetary control facility. Among one of the staff's a blue humanlike entity)

Mom Kirby: What's the status?

Blue Figure: The planet's core is being washed out. We got a minute left before it's game over.

Mom Kirby: Looks like we had no choice.

(Lo & Zel then followed his mom into the escape pods. His younger self didn't knew how much pain his mother felt)

Mom Kirby: It's going to be okay. Your mama & papa, would be going away for a while. But don't be sad. Whenever you glimpsed on the night sky, or even find someone with glasses, remember us.

(lays down her child & kisses him on the forehead) I love you, my little spark.

(& with that, Lo has left his home planet. As he cries, wishing to stay with his mother, the entire planet exploded. What remains are tons of space rock, & a universal rift)

Captain Reaper: We're done here boys, let's go home.

(As the entire armada left, Lo's on the verge of breaking down. For Zel, it's the same thing)

Lo: Is that what happened? My friends, my family. They're... gone?

Zel: (comforts Lo) I'm so sorry about what happened. You must've been too devastated after all this.

Lo: No, it's ok. Because when i'm with you guys, it felt like they're still here. Even you.

Zel: Lo... (Suddenly, the mindscape starts cracking) What's happening?

Lo: They're breaking us out.

(Back in the real world, Maya tries to remove the chips from Chaos)

Maya: Come on Maya, just... one... more... (then, the chips got out) PUUUSSSHHH!!!!

(Chaos then screams in agony as the sonic blast echoes around the land. A few had been startled as the hues suddenly light up, but for one of them...)

???????: lo?

Hope: (regains consciousness) What happened? Maya, did you...

Maya: Sorry about backstabbing you back then, (hugs her) but i'm so glad you're both safe.

Hope: Thanks. Good call for not attacking me. We would've been exhausted if you broke me free.

Ztar: (slow claps in intimidation) Well done Maya for freeing my second in command, but if you'd dare to oppose me, it ain't be your heart you need to protect for. MY MINIONS, COME TO ME!

(That's when the minions in Inkopolis came onto Ztar & merge onto him) Sometimes, the best result come for those alone. & i seek to make it true! (turns into a hulking beast & roars at them) I will make this place, & all of your hopes, come crashing down!

Maya: Not if we had to do with it! Right Hope?

Hope: Right!

(A huge fight then takes place as there are few minutes left. Neither side has backed down until...)

Ztar: Fools, you can't stop this massive plan. I'm unstoppable!

Hope: All this chit-chat about your superiority has met your end. Maya, with me.

(Maya then clung onto Hope as her lightsaber suddenly grew in size. Without a moment's hesitation, she plunged the blade directly onto Ztar's torso)

Maya: Game over, former friend.

Ztar: NOT IF I TAKE YOU WITH ME! (moves his tail to strike down Hope, but not enough to hit Maya) I DON'T NEED YOU, FOR I & MY BOSS WILL LIVE FOREVER!!! (cackles maniacally until he explodes, his service being done)

Hope: This is fine, right?

(& just like that, midnight struck. As the weapon finally lands on the shield, the tower emits a strong beam, that transforms the entire thing into snow)

Mario: *sighs* They finally did it.

Luigi: This is the best new years, ay bro.

Mario: It sure does.

Maya: We finally did it, right Hope?

(As Hope defuses, Lo has been in question)

Lo: Wait, where is my sword wound? (suddenly looks at Zel, who took the hit) Oh no...
