Existential Authority

As I flicked my hand, the ground split, the trees were set on fire, and a huge amount of condensed qi smashed half of the humans. The mountain was damaged so much that it can be seen as a scar, to the onlookers.

The people were panicking due to this sudden unexpected event, it is because out of all the enemies that the escort group had faced, they haven't faced someone like Xi Luo. And it was horrifying, because someone of his caliber is rare to encounter along the road. They were expecting powerful cultivators like him would be staying in secluded sects, live in crowded cities, or perhaps be locking themselves in seclusion.

Meanwhile, Xi Luo took a minute to figure out how his body's doing, and what realm he is in after the breakthrough.

'Huh, so I only have about a portion of my original strength? That was different from just raw power, wait a minute, isn't this my 'Existential Authority'?'.

Xi Luo thought to himself in wonder. 'This is good, although it's a bit weak for now, but once my cultivation increases, its power will increase too. Although after this battle, I'll create a cultivation technique in order to support my bloodline and physique and to let it grow further. For now, let's focus on the battle.'

"Damn it, he's a Nascent Soul realm cultivator! What are we gonna do now?? Ah Xiu???!!!" said an archer from the escort group. "We only fought with bandits and some monsters before, not an actual cultivator!" said another one of the members with a tone of nervousness.

"Aside from that, he's just a kid! So why are we going to fight him?!" another member said in panic and confusion.

"He's not someone we can be complacent with, he might be just a child, but the killing intent he gives off, is on a whole new level, which is why we have to be careful and give it our all."Ah Xiu said with a serious tone.

"I suppose this will be our last battle as a team then," Ah Xiu, the leader of the escort group said with certainty and a hint of nervousness. As she grips tight on her sword, she lunges right into Xi Luo and the other members follow right after, thus giving her cover from the frontlines. Xi Luo also noticed this course of action and thought that this must be the human's response to his action, and thus, he dashed forward, and with his 'Existential Authority', he created a sword made from the steel in the air as he rushed forward.

When Ah Xiu and Xi Luo finally collided with each other, their blades were at war. The sounds of swords clashing that have never been heard for a long time, except from the time when Xi Luo's hometown got destroyed by the mysterious assailant, only awakened the beast inside Xi Luo.

As I heard the familiar sound of blades clashing with each other, I recalled the day when my parents were killed, and my hometown reduced to ashes, along with the cries of the people that were slain. It was so vivid and it resonated in my mind.

Everytime I remember what happened that day, I have this boiling emotion in my heart. A boiling sensation that makes me impatient and lose my mind. Ah.... Why? Why am I talking like this?? I'm Xukong Tianlong,the strongest, mightiest , wisest of all, and yet, why.... Why am I being like this? Ah, so this might be the so-called 'rage' that I'm feeling right now? A primeval emotion from humans, huh? I guess, I'm one step closer to understanding humans then.

After that fleeting thought, I felt that time ought to pass quickly, but, as of now, I see things in a different perspective. Everything is slowing down. The downpour of the rain that was beginning, the reverberating sound of the swords as it flows through the air and strikes through raindrops.

I could feel myself getting lost in the moment, as my grip tighten, with my veins popping out, I was instinctively inserting my Qi on the sword, I, then, swung my sword, as if it was something I was familiar doing with, and I collided swords with this woman called Ah Xiu. The leader of this so-called 'Escort Group'.

As our sword collided with another, my body rushed to make another move. I swung my sword to her left rib, but she managed to block it.

I backed off, and somehow, I could feel myself becoming different. As if all sorts of movements are becoming familiar in both my mind and body, there was lightning emanating from my body.

When suddenly, after finally adjusting to the slowed surroundings, I can faintly see traces of qi that are manifesting, and showing me sword movements. All were basic movements, as far as I can tell. And that was it, nothing else. But when I came to a sudden realization, that with my knowledge, I might as well be able to create a new technique from scratch!!, and so, when I finally focused my attention onto the battle again, I took a look at my surroundings.

4 Archers were about to shoot their arrows, 3 Assassins were covering and concealing themselves with qi, and 2 Swordsmen, coming with a large swing at me. All of them are surrounding me in a circular formation, whilst their leader is coming at me through the front.

'Huh, not so bad I guess? This is a good tactic.' As I thought about it, I noticed that there are quite a lot of openings, and so on.

'Now that I took a closer look, these bastards seem to be holding back, is it because I'm a kid, and not to be taken seriously? That's where they're wrong though.'

'I can escape this by moving through the empty space beside this Ah Xiu. I guess they really are being complacent with me.'

As I moved through space instantaneously, I immediately took an offensive stance, and positioned my sword, as I was about to cut them all in half with a qi sword, my body was suddenly struck with pain, and I missed. It seems that, as I had an untrained human body. It was inevitable, I'd really suffer from the backlash of using my Existential Authority.

But, I paid no mind to it as I was able to follow up with another one, and thus, I'll be able to kill them all.

When they were hit by my attack, they split in one hit, and it's a relief, since I can't drag the battle any longer.

I took a rest, while I'm still suffering from such agonizing pain. There was a surprise prepared for me right after. Something that annoys me very much.

The one thing I never took note of, was the appearance of someone who seems to know me.

Or more like, an apostle, of someone I knew. And she's using this person as a vessel right now.

Out of the dark, I heard a voice calling me by my real name, saying "Tianlong~, to think that you are actually a human now, and look at you, you're so weak!" said by a woman with an arrogant tone.

Damn, I hope I still have enough strength left to kill this one.

As she said that, the air around me froze, and I just realized that I just met one of the people that I should've just killed back then.

To think that the Wù Huā Sect's Frost Phoenix were to come here. Damn, I guess I'm doomed for real now.
