Nuriel is an eighteen-year-old senior in high school. Together with his friends Noah, Lucian and Caden, he has formed a band. He yearns for some change in his life, though he wouldn't know what; he gets what he wishes for when he meets Jerah, who turns his life upside down and makes his heart and brain contradict each other. Will he ever give in to what his feelings tell him, or will he allow his senses to deny them forever?

Sing For Me

I end up having a drink anyways as we start our lesson. "So, for today, I want you to start with making a different version of the test you made yesterday." Jerah puts a few sheets in front of me. "The bases of the questions are the same, but they're different anyways. Just to see how you would've done without my brother's help." 


"So I guess you're the supervisor today?" I say as I scan the paper. He's right; some of the numbers or words have changed, but that's all. With Aki's explanations still in the back of my mind, I should be able to do this. 


"Well, there's no one else to do it, is there?" he huffs. "You have 60 minutes to finish it. And don't look so relieved; I haven't made it as easy as you apparently seem to think it is." 


My relaxed muscles stiffen. I once again realize that we are alone, just the two of us, in this house. Then there's also this test that I will probably fail. I groan as I throw my head back, staring at the ceiling.
