Sing For Me

It feels like a dream, seeing the face of the man I love so much after so long. The silence that surrounds us only makes it feel more unreal. I don't know what to say. I quickly glance at him, then turn my gaze back to the twins, who are still standing by me. I'm afraid of what expression he'll show. 


What would I have done two years ago? Is it normal to act like we haven't talked to each other? And why isn't he saying anything, either? 


"Why don't you two go upstairs," Aki tries, "I think it's best if you talk alone." 


I shoot a glance at him, helpless, trying to convince him to say something else. Then I look at Hana, begging her to tell me to stay. But neither of them react. 


Without a word, Jerah turns around and disappears through the door. Am I supposed to follow him? Or does he not want to talk to me? 


"You should go after him," Kaori says as if she's reading my mind. "I think he's confused and not sure what to do."
