Grandpa Lu was about to reply …...., at this time his son came in with the doctor.

"Mrs Lu, how are you feeling?" asked the doctor and did a series of tests on Su Nian.

"I'm feeling much better now". Su Nian replied politely to the doctor,

Even though as an expert in the medical field and knowing her condition, she knows that there is nothing much serious, just a minor fracture but even then she does not look down on anyone.

Her condition is getting better but she needs to rest for 4-5 weeks as she has suffered a minor fracture in her right leg. Other than that all her reports are normal. She could get discharged after tomorrow as we need to run a couple of tests to be fully assured.

Inside the hospital room, the doctor explained in detail Nian's physical condition to the Lu family.

Though they all sigh in relief that there is nothing serious, but couldn't help glancing worriedly towards her plastered leg. Their worries did not go unnoticed by Nian thus she smiled reassuringly and lovingly to them.

Thus they all started blabbering questions about how serious her leg injury, what she can eat about her diet and what types of more tests he is talking about, Dr. li patiently and politely answered all of their questions and explains her condition briefly, her diet and that she should take complete, Su Nian is impressed by his professionalism as there are very few doctors who take their duties sincerely rather than only concentrating on stacking up their bank balance, but considering the fact that this hospital is under Lu family than she feels that all those working under Lu's are capable and honest people.

After answering all their questions dr. goes out of the room as he has more patients waiting for him to attend.

"Niannian you must be hungry, what would you like to eat, mom will make it for you". Mama Lu asked as she remembered Su nian had only breakfast and didn't eat till now.

"Mom, I want to eat your special spiced pasta," said Nian licking her lip as she remembered the mouth-watering taste.

"Nian you can't eat spicy food right now, mom would make you your favourite congee but I promise once you recover mom would make all your favourite recipes".  Coaxed  Mama Lu as she knows how much of a foodie person Su nian is... 

"Okay, mom". Replied Su Nian while pouting…. She is annoyed that she can't have spicy food.

" good girl…. You take a rest, I'll be back with your food … father you are also going back home with me, you haven't taken a rest and you have to take your medicine so you are also going with me". Said Mama lu commandingly. Basically in the Lu family, a woman has more power than anyone or you could say the women in Lu are being doted on by everyone as they believe a woman deserves the best in her life as she sacrifices more than anyone for their family and loved ones.

"No, I 'm staying here with nian…..you take your husband back he is getting old and needs rest". Replies the childish grandpa as he wants to spend more time with his granddaughter in law, drags his son in conversation and uses him as a shield. Even though Grandpa Lu, Lu Zhang is the head of the family and has served in the army as a chief commander for many years and is a ruthless & heartless man for his enemies but a warm person for his family and dotes on his family.

Father Lu shakes his head as he sees him again acting like a child at the age of sixty and how he declares that he is the one that is getting old & needs rest.

"Father you should just stop acting childish and should go home, take rest …. I'm staying with nian as we don't want one more person being hospitalised". mocked father Lu.

Being sneered at by his son grandpa Lu was about to retort….but he heard Nian speaking.

"Grandpa, mom, dad you all should go back and take rest… I know you all stayed here from the morning so all should go back and mom you could just let the butler Lu deliver the food". Said Su Nian worriedly, interrupting them.

"No nian, I'm coming back and will stay with you, your father will stay here for now and father you are going back with me… no more acting", said Mama Lu firmly with no more arguments and discussion.

Father Lu nods 

Grandpa Lu " …"  as he knows there is no room for arguments.

 Grandpa Lu and Mama Lu go back and father Lu stays with Nian. 

"Father you should also rest". Said Nian as she saw the tired face of her father in law.

Father Lu is about to say no but seeing the concerned face of Nian.

" Okay, you should also take some rest and if you need something just call me". Replied father Lu patting Su Nian's head, moving towards the vacant bed provided for family or visitors.

As the silence encircled in the room, Su Nian once again immersed herself in the past, those memories once again started engulfing her.

Before her marriage, she was adopted by the Su family after she lost her memories. She always thought she was their real daughter even though they mistreated her and her so-called siblings bullied her. That's why she had never taken any action against them and bore all their unfair treatment for the past years. Reminiscing all these things her eyes lost all the love that she shows in front of Lu family, remains the coldness and cruelty in those turquoise coloured eyes where anyone could lose their souls, her lips lifted upwards slightly which shows that she is planning the biggest surprise and the party who would receive this is not going love it.

But one thing that confuses her the most is how did they get to know about her and why did they adopt her into their family, seems like she needs to probe more about their family. 

Hmm…. seems, someone is ready to take her throne.
