CHAPTER 5 MEMORIES (3)

"ACCIDENT" does remind her of something, maybe something that could make the situation more critical or it could make things easier to know the exact truth.

Before she lost her memories and her identity more than anything her family who is her everything.

She remembers that day as clear as crystal-like it happened yesterday.

More than 2 years ago…..

At Tang family  

Tang family ancestors pertain to ancient times where there is the rule of a monarch and society respects and fears those who are strong.

Their ancestors practised cultivation so even though they have their roots in cultivation but due to scarce resources and unpleasant and less energy in the environment, they can't practise cultivation. 

Their family in history are well-respected alchemists but due to scarce conditions, today Tang family could only practise medicines and study doctorate rather than practising alchemy and making elixirs like their ancestors but even though they are well known in the field of medicine and doctors, thus they always researching and experimenting so they could develop the medical fields.

The fact of research is only known to the main Tang family as the Tang family belongs to ancient times and has a branch family also but the main Tang family never let the branches involve or let them know about any of the research or study, branches are only involved in the normal medical fields but even though branches carry ideas against the main family as their previous generations are also from that times but never really show their thoughts to the old patriarch or any other family members 

But do they think that their evil thoughts are hidden from the old patriarch and others?  They surely underestimated the power and intelligence of the Tang main family. 

As the Tang family was involved in research, They even invented a device like a chip that has its own space but for activating that space or that chip one needs a human brain.

Only a functioned human brain can operate it but involves risks because they need to inject the chip into the human head but this could backfire also as the person could be brain dead, could go in a coma for an uncertain amount of period and a person could also become stupid so because of this they could not involve innocent life at all thus they decided to inject in one of their family members but that too should be done with the willingness and consent of the family.

At tang family residence

All the family members are gathered in the living room of tang household but silence engulfs the whole room everyone is in deep thoughts, they were never against the research as it could benefit their large family and would be a great step towards the medical fields in modern times but they never will able to hurt their loved ones,

 at this times everyone breaks from their thoughts and speaks at the same time,

" I, m ready", everyone speaks at the same time and look at each other when they heard thoughts of their family, as  they all  understand the thoughts of each other this makes them more worried,

"Grandpa, what do you think would be best for this?". This time Tang nian who is silent from the start asks grandpa Tang who has seen everyone's thoughts and knows their worried heart. 

As old patriarch listen his precious granddaughter asks him the question he is most worried about for many days, he is not surprised that this question is asked by tang nian who is the youngest in the family because tang nian has always been the one who thinks and speaks after considering all the facts and has more clear & composed thoughts than any other members in the family that's why she can complete her degree when she was eighteen and has more keen senses.

 she is someone who would rather spend all her day in hospital treating patients or studying new medicines and poison than indulge in worldly pleasure, she is the type of person who only regards strength and medicines her love, she is the most silent person in the family unless required she would never involve in a conversation but would give her opinion time to time so you can say that she is the least expressive person but that doesn't mean she loves her family any less than any other member, that's why all the family members want her to spoil and pamper her but Tang Nian never taken their love and pampering for granted, she is the most brilliant student from her childhood.

"What do you think Nian, whom I should let take this risk", before answering her question grandpa Tang further questions his granddaughter. 

Nian studies her grandfather silently for a minute and then lifts her hands pointing a finger towards herself and says, " Me".

Just one word from Nian and all the family members are stunned and turn their heads towards grandpa Tang, wants him to refute Nian because they all know that if Nian has said that she would have considers all the facts and the old patriarch also thought like that but even though they never wanted Nian to take this huge risk as her life has just started now, they would be happy to take place in this then Nian.

As everyone was waiting for grandpa Tang's answer

This confirms that grandpa also thinks that for this Nian would be the best one to take part in even though this makes sense to everyone why grandpa would choose Nian but how could they let Nian take this risk whom they can't wait to spoil and pamper.

"But Dad, how could you let Nian take the risk? It's okay for me to do it but I can't let Nian do it, I'm sorry Dad for refuting your decision for the first time,'' said Mrs Tang, Nian's mother worriedly.
