The New Neighbor (PART 2)

NEXT DAY

I finished the two remaining stories in the morning so that I can relax the rest of the day. I made some Chilli chicken and rice for lunch. I took a long relaxing shower and wore a black biker short and a white adidas t-shirt. I dried my hair with the hairdryer. I check my phone and saw a few messages from my mom, notifications from amazon about a sale and a few more. But no message from Kleiny. I send him a simple message saying 'Hi' and decided to watch a movie. I was about to press play when the doorbell rang. I went and opened the door and saw Kleiny.

He was carrying a brown paper bag. I smiled at him and said, "Hey." "Hi, can I come in?" he asked me. "Yeah sure" I replied to him and stand aside so that he can come in. I close the door behind me. "Wow your apartment is really clean and beautiful" he said to me and handed me that brown paper bag. "Thank you and what is this?" I asked him and looked inside the bag. "It's chocolate and vanilla ice cream. You said yesterday that you like these two flavours" he said with a cute smile. "That is so sweet of you. Thanks" I said and told him to sit on the couch.

I went into the kitchen and put the ice cream into the icer. I came back and sat near Kleiny and he asked, "Have you finished editing the rest of the two stories?". "Yeah, I finished them in the morning" I replied to him. "Nice. What's your plan for the day?" he asked me with a smirk. "Pretty much staying in bed, watching a movie or series and eat my specially made Chilli Chicken. Why don't you stay for lunch?" I said to him.

He smiled at me and said "Oh wait I have to check my schedule" he pretends to take out a notepad out of his jacket pocket and said "You are in luck. I can stay for lunch and who would say no to delicious Chilli Chicken". I laugh at his expression and said "Well thank you for giving me your valuable time your majesty". We laughed at our response "Okay as I am staying for lunch, I am going to plan the perfect day for us." He said and got up from the couch.

"The perfect day? You are going to plan. What is wrong with my plan?" I asked him and crossed my arms. "It's okay but it's too plain. I am going to spice things up" he said and headed towards the door, I went after him and said "Where are you going?", "I will be right back. I just have to get a couple of things from my apartment" he said that and hurried back to his apartment. I smile at him and close the door. I decided to watch a movie in the meantime. I went to my room and took my comforter from the bed. It's cute, its navy blue and has little stars on it.

Usually, I keep this on the couch, so that I can put it on while watching the TV but I washed it today and kept in on the bed after I took it out from the dryer. I sat on the couch, switched on Netflix and started the movie. After 20 minutes I heard the front door open, I didn't get up as I know it's Kleiny. He came in with a backpack and one plastic bag on his hand. "Oh, look at you all cosy and watching Kung Fu Panda. But you should lock the front door" he said and kept his backpack on the floor and the plastic bag on the coffee table.

"Well, I know you are coming back so I didn't. Otherwise, I would have locked it." I replied to him. "Okay fair enough. But what if I was a thief? What would you have done then" he asked and sit near me. I looked towards him and said "I would have beat his ass with my baseball bat". "You have a baseball bat?" he asked me with a shocked expression, like he don't believe me. "Don't look so shock, it's right over there" I pointed towards the aluminium baseball bat that I kept near the TV.

"Okay, what if you were in your bedroom?", "I have two. One here and the other one is in my room. My brother gave it to me" I said. "Courtesy of having a brother. Well thank god I am not the thief. Anyway, I lock the door for you. He said smiling to me. "Aww thanks", "One more thing, you have a closet, right?" he asked me. "Yeah. why?" I replied to him with a confused reaction. "I need you to go inside there and wait till I call you out" he said. "And why will I do that?" I asked him.

"Because after you see what I have plan for you, you will be surprised. Now come on" he said and got up and held his hand towards me. I sigh and smile to him. I took his hand and got up. "Lead the way princess" he said. "This way" I said and walked towards my bedroom. He followed behind me. "Wow you really are organised. You should have seen my room, it's a mess" he says that and looked around my room. I have a bed in the middle of the room, two bedside table on either side and lamps on each table, my desk is near the window on the left side with a black revolving chair.

I have a few copies, notes, a pen stand, highlighters and a few more things. And a bookshelf on the right side of the window. The closet is beside my bedroom door. I also have a blue and white slipper chair in the corner of the room with a dark brown foot stool. "I really like this one" he pointed towards the slipper chair "From where did you get it?" he asked me. "From Pepperfry. I really like the design and the colour" I said. "Is the foot stool and the chair a combo?" he asked me and sit on the chair. "No. I brought the stool from Target" I said and sat on the bed.

"Okay. Nice, so shall we begin", "I have a question. Why do I have to go to the closet? I can just stay in my room?" I asked him. "Well, the thing is the game will start from your room that's why" he explained to me. "Okay fair enough. But if you mess my apartment, you have to clean it. Deal?" I say to him and got up from my bed. "We have a deal amigo" he got up and said that and we shook hands. I went towards the closet, switch on the light and just before I close the door, Kleiny passed me my boat headphones.

I gave him a questioned look, "I don't want you to hear anything okay? Now get in" he says and close the door. I smiled and sat on the floor, I plug my headphones in and started playing my playlist. After 25 minutes or so, Kleiny opened the door. I pull out my headphones out of my ears, "You ready?" he asked me. "Yes, I am" I got up from the floor and went out. The first thing I saw was a soft toy Pikachu and a bottle of tabasco sauce on my headboard. And above them were three balloons. One white and the other two are red.

I looked towards Kleiny and he begin to explain "So it's easy. As you can see there is a Pikachu and the other is tabasco. If you shot the white balloon in one go you get the Pikachu and if you shoot the red then you have to take a tabasco shot. Okay?".

"Okay I got it. But I have a few question", "Go ahead". I sigh and begin, "First I am terrible at aiming. And second how many games have you plan and do I really have to take the shot?","Three. And yes, you have to take the shot. Are you ready?" he asked and handed me a nerf gun, "Yes I am" I said and took the gun and pointed towards the white balloon and just before I shoot it, I turn towards Kleiny and say "If I win you have to take two shots of tabasco", he thought for a moment and said, "Okay". I nod and again pointed the gun to the white balloon.

Okay I am not that bad at aiming but I don't like to brag about it. And as I pulled the trigger, the dart went straight for the white balloon and boom its pop. I looked at Kleiny, he gave me smile and went towards the bed took the Pikachu and the tabasco. He came and handed the Pikachu to me and said "Terrible at aiming she said". He drank the two shots of tabasco. After he was done with the second one, he said "Oh god that was so bad. I was kind of hoping you would get that one" and starting walking towards the living room.

I followed after him "Oh my god. Watch then I am winning the rest of the games" But it didn't go that well. The second game was for how long I can hold my laughter with water in my mouth. And Kleiny here was not making things easy for me. And on top of that my phone was on the kitchen counter, so if I laugh water will fell from my mouth straight to the phone. And as expected I lost. And as punishment I had to show Kleiny the most embarrassing photo of mine. Actually, it's a video, my best friend pranked me with a fake spider while we were going somewhere in a cab.

It was on my jacket and when I saw it, I opened it and threw my jacket out of the car window. Kleiny was laughing his ass off when he saw it. We decided to had our lunch and then play the last game. "This is amazing. Are you sure you are a writer? Or you are a secret chef too?" he asked me and took another bite of his food. "I might be, right. How knows?" I replied to him. He laughed at my response. When we were done, he helped me clean the table and put the plates, bowls and some other utensils in the dishwasher.

We sit down on the couch and begin to say "The last one is easy. Am going to ask you five riddles. If you get all five correct then", he paused and took out 150 dollars from his pockets. "You win 150 dollars" he said that and put it in the coffee table. "Alright let's do this" "Yes but if you lose you have to dance with me" he said that and took out his phone. "Okay. Even if I win, I will still dance with you" I replied. He said okay and begin the game. The riddles were really tricky and twisted.

But I answered all correct and I won. He handed me the money. I smiled at him, I got up and turn on the TV and opened YouTube. I press Afterglow by Ed Sheeran and it started playing. I turn to Kleiny and say, "Will you dance with me?". he smiled at me, got up from the couch and pull me close to him. "Of course," he said. The song was playing softly and we were enjoying the moment. I put my head on his chest and he put his on top of mine. We were moving slowly along with the song.

"Pearl" Kleiny say, I look towards him and say "Yeah?". He didn't say anything. He was just staring at my eyes. He started to lean towards me. So was I. He closes the gap and kissed me. I wrap my arms around his neck whilst joining our lips together. I pulled away and saw him staring at me. He gave me a peak and said "I like you so much". "I like you too" I said and hugged him. The rest of the day we cuddle on the couch, watched a movie. Today was really a great day for me. Let's see where this will take us.
