Who Gets The Throne?

"You don't get it Rachel! You are unfit to rule the throne!" The king yelled at her youngest daughter Rachel. "I know but why does she get to rule the throne! She's unfit too! She'll boss everyone around!" Rachel snapped back.

"She's the oldest and way more responsible than you! She doesn't even be bossy! She is just disciplining you!" Argued their dad, the King.

"That's what everyone thinks! You wouldn't know! You don't even know much about Regina!" Yelled Rachel.

"I know more than you know about her and she is an amazing person! I raised her young lady!" Said their dad.

"Well then if that's how it's gonna be then I'm leaving!" Rachel sobbed.

Rachel ran out of the mansion slamming the door shut making a scene and choking on her tears, upset her father would make such an immature choice.

"What a brat!" Regina complained. She accepted the duty to become the new ruler of the throne, for there had to be a ruler now since the king is getting too old.

At the castle, the king went on showing Regina how to be a fantastic queen. "This is how you walk, a walk of royalty and discipline." Said the king. "This is the crown, it means a lot in royalty, so don't do anything that can damage it. Who am I kidding? You're Regina, you'll know what to do! But seriously be careful with this crown and act mannerly!" Said her dad.

"Okay, I get it now!" Regina yelled. Regina secretly didn't pay attention. All she wanted to think about was the fact that she was rich and finally queen.

"I advise you should leave, I have it all under control." Stated Regina.

"Wow I admire your acquiescence. Okay then, I shall leave, and you may show no lack of responsibility, physically or mentally. Understand?" Commanded the king.

"Your word is safe with me." Regina reassured.

The king gave Regina a contract to sign the next day for her to be queen. Regina signed the contract and they had a celebration the next day.

The next day, Regina got to stand on a red and gold balcony of the mansion, watching down on the crowd. "She is gonna be a great queen!" Said someone in the crowd. "She is gonna ruin our lives, look at her!" Said another person. Everyone seemed to have their own opinions of her, but Regina ignored them.

Suddenly the sound of trumpets echoed throughout the area. The king arrived on the balcony with Regina. "Good morning people." Said the king. Everyone bowed. "Good morning your highness." Replied everyone at once. "Today is a special day, for my eldest daughter, Regina, is inheriting the quality to become queen." announced the king. The crowd cheered.

"Regina anything you want to say to the crowd?" Asked the king.

"Um, yes. I hereby guarantee that I will make responsible decisions for all of you and protect you from wrath. I guarantee your safety is in good hands and I am proud to call myself your queen." Regina promised.

The crowd cheered and screamed for her speech, they loved her speech. Regina and The King invited everyone in for a feast to celebrate. The king soon went to a nursing home after Regina became queen, leaving Regina in the castle clueless.

Regina didn't comply to her father's word one bit. Now that she owned the castle she ran around the castle like a fool, got sweaty often and stole food from others. She grew selfish and spoiled not showing sympathy for anyone.

She saw the crown and loved how many jewels it had surrounding it. She felt a sense of freedom, satisfaction and dominance when she wears it which made her feel more dominant in a selfish way.
