Abandoned Castle's Curse
"S-Someone help me…! Please, someone…!" A horrible cry of a woman echoed inside the huge and dark castle ruins of Labyrinth.
The woman looks really drained because of her running. Worn-out white dress, wandering around barefoot, not minding the coldness of the freezing pathway of the abandoned castle.
The castle of Agandar - the place where the beast guardians used to live before the "Great War of the Clans". The castle was destroyed amidst the war, and then it became ruins throughout the years.
The woman is running around the castle; crying non-stop, dripping in sweat with her feet already swollen.
The last bloodthirsty beast guardian of the place, who survived the war is chasing her, hoping to taste the sweetness of her blood.
A 10 feet bald-headed beast with huge claws, sharp teeth, toned body, and growls similar to that of a rumbling thunder. A beast that walks like a human, but has a strength of 10 grizzly bears. He can break bones with the use of his powerful jaws.
But his specialty is not biting nor chewing his victims, his headbutts can guarantee your death in an instant. A normal mortal won't stand a chance with his unbelievable force.
After the war, this certain beast guardian became the most terrifying creature who have ever lived in the castle. He brutally murdered thousands of intruders who dared to interrupt his slumber.
For the last 2000 years, no living being has attempted to go to his burrow after those incidents.
And now that he smelled blood once again, the nightmare of the past will be given to the unfortunate woman.
"Blood! Blood!"
They are running at the top floor of the castle. The woman is trying to find the stairs to go back down. Her anguish makes it more difficult for her to escape.
"I'm dead... Is this the place that will serve as my grave…? He's here... He's nea-"
"Argh! Blood! Human blood! Blood! Blood!" the beast guardian shouted repeatedly.
His saliva glows whenever it falls on the floor and is touched by the light of the full moon. The thirst for blood is evident on his face as he continue on chasing the helpless lady.
After a few seconds of running, the woman accidentally stumbled on the floor, making the distance between the two of them real close. She stood up even though her whole body is aching. The adrenaline rush is the only thing that is keeping her alive.
Her face became blank after seeing the wall in front of her; she unfortunately reached the end of the hallway. She slowly turned her gaze behind her, wearing a nervous expression.
The bloodthirsty beast guardian is now grinning at her with his saliva falling continuously on the floor. The cold breeze touched her bare skin making her body shiver.
The growling of the beast guardian is the only sound covering their atmosphere. She leisurely leaned herself on the wall. She then took a deep breath as the beast guardian slowly approach her.
"Oh God... No... No... Stay away from m-"
The beast guardian then aggressively threw himself to her direction, trying to knockout her using his tough head.
But because of the fear and anxiousness the woman's feeling, her body instinctively dodged the deadly attack.
The beast guardian's head got stuck on the wall, so she used this chance to escape from her death.
When she returned to her path before, she keeps on seeing the saliva of the beast guardian on the floor and it makes her feel more tense.
"Stairs... Stairs... Where are the stairs…?" she weakly whispered to herself.
Her voice is now slowly fading because of fatigue and hunger. She's running around, looking at the darkness of the hallway as if she's looking at her last hope.
The floor suddenly started shaking again, meaning the beast guardian got on his feet once more.
"Human! You not get away again! Blood give me! Taste mine claws!" the beast guardian shouted.
The woman instantly panicked and began to look around for something capable to hurt the beast guardian.
"This spear…" the woman whispered to herself – dumbfounded.
She unexpectedly found one of the thirteen famous spears from the city of Rolandock leaning on a rock.
Perhaps because of the war, the spear has been abandoned by its master after he or she died from the battlefield.
Until now, the wielders of the thirteen famous spears are still unknown. No one knows if they are dead or they are still living their legacies.
"This can hurt him… I can… I can fight… him…" she muttered, holding the rusty spear.
When she saw the beast guardian, she didn't waste a single second she immediately threw the spear.
The spear is creating a sound as it flies along with the wind.
However, seems like its hymn is out of tune because of what happened after.
The blade of the spear got flattened because of its impact against the steel body of the beast guardian.
While the beast guardian didn't have a single scratch nor he was hurt. The woman's attempt of killing him made him furious, he growled.
The only hope of the woman has faded right before her own eyes.
"Graaaahhhhh!"
The woman then wandered her eyes around, she saw an open window. She immediately checked the outside, the height is too high, and if she's going to jump, she will definitely die.
But a defenseless lady with nowhere to run has no other choice but to risk her life. It's all or nothing. She will die either way.
Luckily, she landed on a bush of roses. The impact was lessen. She stood up to run again but her luck seems to be fake.
The beast guardian jumped from the window where she fell from, and his landing created a loud sound. She immediately hid behind a tree; breathing heavily as if she's chasing her heartbeat.
"Come out, human! Give me blood yours! If you don't want, I shall force you to appear!" the beast guardian shouted angrily.
The woman instantly knew what the beast guardian is going to do, so she began running faster than before.
"There you are!" said the beast guardian.
"No! Please, let me escape... I don't want to die…! Spare m-"
"Labyrinth's Fourth Potential: The Blankness Dome!"
After the beast guardian cast his spell, the whole place turned into nothingness. The castle disappeared and the only thing that can be seen is nothing but black. It made the woman tremble in fear.

The only choice the woman has to choose is to dodge the beast guardian's every single attack.
If she fails to do so, then death would be glad to accompany her.
"I-I have heard about this... I'm dead now... It's impossible for me to escape..." the woman whispered in agony.

The woman immediately struggled looking around her, trying to spot where the attack will come from.
She turned behind her and the beast guardian's huge claws were already in front of her. She couldn't move. She couldn't speak.

A black burning sword suddenly slashed the claws of the beast guardian out of nowhere, and it saved the woman who was about to be killed.

"Release," said the man and his burning sword suddenly came back to normal.
"Aaarggghhh! My claws! How you broke dome?! Impossible!" the beast guardian shouted in pain.
"I have been looking for you all over the place, and here you are, acting like an idiot monster," the man replied with a poker face.
The woman then ran away without looking back. But because of her undying curiosity that nearly killed her, she didn't leave and just decided to watch what will happen next.
"I will kill you to—Wait... T-That black sword..." the beast guardian whispered nervously after seeing the sword that had been used to slash his claws.
He slowly raised his eyes and he got shocked instantly after realizing the face of the wielder of the sword. The beast guardian stood still like a statue because of horror.
"W-What are you doing here…? A being like you has nothing to do here…!"
