Honour

They’re wrong. I shall never be wholly part of their team because I have my own crew I need to take care of. Yawning on my way to the skate park, I am greeted by a livid Frankie as soon as I step foot onto artificial grass.

“He’s still taking.” Frankie digs fists into his blazer pockets.

My eyes swerve onto Kay who is trying to console an out of his mind Mi. “Did that hussy give it to him?”

Kay sees me looking. Rubs Mi’s shoulder then stalks over to us. “I know what you’re thinking. I swear down I haven’t given him a thing. He’s never even asked. We’ve only been meeting here early so he can teach me boarding.”

I think I believe her, sort of. I need to hear the truth from Mi. Fuck, he’s in a state. I go over there. He flinches; probably scared I shall smack him into infinity. A smack won’t work. I sit opposite him. “What happened to go no bro?”

“I tried. Really tried.”

“Maybe I shouldn’t have left you alone so soon.”
