"We're finally here! I can't believe we're finally here!" I looked around the brightly lit chamber. I had never been so glad to see those blank metallic walls than I was now. I hugged the walls and almost kissed the floor but thought better of it. I didn't want the others to think I'd become the mayor of crazy town.
"My eyes might explode due to sudden exposure to this much light," Sean muttered, hiding his eyes by his hands.
"Eyes don't explode from too much light. You just feel a little ache. And you're the doctor." Kat said, smirking. Sean looked at her and hid his entire face. Poor Sean.
"Wait a minute!" Trevor cried. What now? I thought, on the verge of bursting into a tantrum. "We didn't need actual flashlights, we had our phones! We could've used their flash to see in the dark!" For a moment, I thought God! How can we be so stupid? How did we not think of this before? But then I remembered something which Kat did the courtesy to remind Trevor.
