Suspicion

You woke up in your bed groggily, your head was pounding. You got up almost shakily though your vision shot white, so you decided to lay back down. The mansion was dead silent, not a single sound was heard. After a couple of minutes, your strength built up so you got up staggered into the kitchen. You looked in one of the cabinets and it was empty, after minutes of searching throughout the kitchen you realized there was no food,

"Why doesn't this place have any food?" You grumbled to yourself.

"It does have food." You jumped in surprise, recognizing the voice from behind you.

"K-Kanato!"

"We do have food though Y/N-chan." Kanato smiled sadistically.

"Where? All the cabinets are empty."

He grabbed your forearm and pulled you towards himself. He took a deep inhale at the nape of your neck. "Right here..." You felt a sharp pain in your neck that caused you to gasp. Then he pulled away, wiping the edge of his mouth that had blood dripping down.

"KANATO!" Yui's voice called.

"Ahh...That stupid clingy human." Kanato rolled his eyes and clutched Teddy closer to himself. "She's annoying isn't she Teddy? I just want to drain her dead."

"Why?"

"She wants to make out or whatever you call it."

"And don't you want to?" You questioned feeling slightly hopeful.

"No, she's so pestering." He complained before having Teddy nod in agreement with him.

"Oh, well do you guys have food? Cause I'm starving."

"You...?" You sighed and shot a nasty glare at Kanato. He chuckled and hugged Teddy tighter.

"Whatever." And with that, you went to your room locking the door.

You sat on the bed and sighed. Was he just telling me that to make me feel better?

I stayed in my room refusing to leave, not even to eat.

No matter what, I never left.

The door opened and you were staring at the wall. Someone grabbed your wrist and dragged you outside.

"Let me go!" You fought back resisting to leave the room. He covered your mouth and his greenish-gold eyes glowed in the dark. "Ayato?"

"Stay quiet and come on."

You got up unconsciously following him out of my room after 1 month, "Where are we going?"

He stopped, "Don't you feel bothered?"

"By?"

"You're in your room while Kanato and Yui are hitting it off as a couple" His eyes dark full of mixed emotions. Your heart sank remembering the reason why you stayed in my room for so long.

"I was in my room to forget about it" Your expressionless changed to a poker face.

His eyes softened realizing your pain, "I don't trust Yui...I feel like she's planning something..." He ran one hand through his tangled locks and sighed. "She first picked me...then Laito...then Kanato."

You froze "Aren't you three biological brothers?"

He stayed silent but slightly nodded, walking out of the mansion and you followed.

"She picked us by who's oldest to youngest," He sat outside on a bench. "Isn't that strange?"

You sat down next to him, you were both sitting discussing and thinking of the situation.

You both came to a conclusion. Yui was trying to...

"Hey, guys what are you doing?"

We both looked up and our eyes widened Yui's hand linked with Kanato's. She was smiling innocently with a hint of mischief. On the other hand, my heart stung, we were right....Just like Laito's eyes before...Kanato's were dark blue.
