Chapter Fourteen

"Lana Kang, please report to the Vice Principal's office… Lana Kang, please report to the Principal's office!"

Everyone stares up in surprise as a female voice blares softly from the small speaker hanging at the corner of the ceiling, and my brows rise at the mention of my name.

Shrugging with a clueless response when Bora and the twins turn to me with a questioning gaze, I shove the notes I was reviewing into my bag before heading out of the noisy class.

We're supposed to be having a math class but our teacher, Mrs Kang Sam Soon is yet to arrive and no one is inclined to head towards the office to call her. Not even the class monitor.

Getting to the Vice Principal's office I push open the door without waiting for a response after knocking once and blink in surprise to see 3 familiar faces inside. Stiffening immediately, I take a step backwards and try to make a hasty exit. "Sorry, I'll just wait outside."

"Wait!" One of the men yells, and I had no choice but to pause. "Please come in, we'd like to talk to you."

Oh shit, retreat!

My questioning gaze moves to the guy from the hotel briefly before settling on the other two in the room. The three of them positioned themselves separately, the guy from the hotel sitting comfortably on an expensive-looking leather couch across the room with one leg crossed over the other, his hands typing away on his phone.

An older guy stood leaning on the wooden shelves behind a large mahogany desk cluttered with papers, a laptop, and some other office crap.

The last guy is seated facing my direction, his butt on the edge of the desk. Out of the three, he seems to be the most comfortable for me to stare at, maybe it's because of the friendly look in his light brown eyes, or because he seems a little less intimidating, but I wasn't letting my gaze move in the direction of the other two until I get myself to calm down and know what the hell is going on.

The one with the light brown eyes straightens to his feet, making me notice the blue strip suit he's wearing. It's immaculately cut and obviously tailored personally for him.

His tanned smooth skin is moisturized daily, his nose straight, his cheekbones angular, and his straight brown hair in a Caesar haircut. I step inside and slowly close the door behind me. "Is something wrong?"

Instead of answering, Strip-suit asks to confirm. "You're Lana Kang I presume?" His voice sounding like smooth velvet.

"Yes, but again is something wrong?"

"Oh no, we just want to talk to you for a bit." Stepping aside, he pulls out one of the rolling chairs facing the desk for me, gesturing once with his head as if to say... please have a seat.

"Okay," I respond and slowly make my way towards the chair despite everything in me wanting to stay closer to the door.

Thankfully, the man in Strip-suit doesn't stay standing behind me, instead, he rounds the desk to settle in the Vice Principal's chair like it's his office.

He smiles gently as if sensing my unease and say. "Do not fret Lana, what we want to talk about is nothing bad. My colleagues and I just want a word."
