CHAPTER IX:THE BLACK PRINCE IS SUS

Katherine's POV,

I am dumbfounded right now by how did we end up like this? I know this is the original plan if he has no hidden agenda but I didn't expect him to be this so interested in a movie. His eyes are so focused on the screen while eating the whole popcorn as if he's the one who bought it.

He already ate the first whole popcorn and now this is his second round. I barely get some popcorns from him because he's the one holding it and he's too greedy.

Tss... Is he a prince for real? He looks more like a beggar than me.

I was about to grab some nachos but he grabs some first before I can even get for myself.

"Tss..." I hiss at him.

He glares at me."sshh...I am watching!" He scolded me then returns his eyes focusing on the big screen at the front.

My jaw drops because this was supposed to be his apology gift but he is enjoying this more than me.

I just shake my head then continue focusing on the screen again.

He's surprisingly attentive to the movie. I thought he would be sleeping in the cinema the whole time. He doesn't look like the type who will be interested in romantic movies like this.

The movie is now at the part where the main character reads the letter for him from his lover that just died.

I suddenly hear someone quietly sobbing beside me. I look at that person, surprised because I didn't expect him to cry over a scene. I am also on the verge of crying but seeing his face right now makes me wanna laugh.

I want to take a picture of him but it's not allowed in the cinema while the movie is ongoing.

He is so focused on the movie that he didn't notice that I am already watching him crying like a baby right now.

Hahahaha he looks like a demon who wants to destroy a whole planet but he is being like this right now.

Well... I guess even demons like him can't resist crying over this film.

"The movie sucks." The first thing he utters after going out at the cinema.

"Wow! You should have at least said that without your eyes getting sore from crying earlier in the movie.Pfft." I teasingly respond to him. He glares at me again but I just stick my tongue out to tease him even more.

Hahahaha I am no longer scared of you!

"Tss... I didn't cry. There's just something that got into my eyes earlier...I don't know maybe a bug or something!! But I didn't cry!!" wow...this guy is an unexpectedly in denial person.

I only met him for three days. Our first meeting is not that good. Ever since we met he has never been nice to me, he always yells, insults and glares at me only.

But today I find out something interesting about him. Hahaha, he's not that bad at all.

Yesterday was not bad at all. Eros surprisingly gave me a ride home last night with his Jet Black Metallic, Porsche 911.Followed by his guards. I feel like I am riding on a president's limousine last night.

Since birth, I can only ride public transportations and our plain family's car. While that guy has been driving different kinds of sports cars depending on his moods.

That is like a slap on my face telling me that we are on different levels. Damn that black prince.

But there's one thing that he said to me yesterday that stuck inside my head.

"You are the main character, Katherine," saying it while staring straight into my eyes.

I didn't expect him to say something like that to me. He's the type who only knows to bully and always insults you.

No one has ever told me like that, and who would even say something like that to someone these days?

Ever since I am always an average girl. I am not the most attractive person that you will see in a room. I am not exceptionally talented, not even the super genius type. I am just a hardworking person that's why I can get decent grades.

But to hear him say that I am the main character is almost like hearing him say that "I am special."

"You look like you're in a good mood today, Kath!" Kirsten commented.

I look at her, smiling. "Well, something good just happened. I think there's nothing I need to worry about anymore!" I optimistically tell her.

We are now inside the campus cafeteria taking our lunch.

"You mean the beastly prince already forgave you?!" She exclaims then I just nod at her while grinning.

"I think you're right. He's not that bad at all. I just misjudge him because of his attitude that he has shown me on our first meeting..." And now I don't have to call our embassy or President to ask for help hehe.

"Omg! He's coming in this way!!" I heard from the girl at our back.

"No way!! The Hot first year from Political Science course?!" then I hear another squealing voice at the back.

We just ignore them and continue eating our lunch. Kirsten suddenly drops her spoon that she's holding and her face looks so surprised at the person at my back.

Her mouth is partly open then she points her finger at my back.

Is there a ghost? A serial killer? Or a zombie at my back?

Even I am scared to look at my back I still turn around to face what kind of creature it is.

"Lucifer?!! Ah, I mean Eros, hehe." I have mistaken him for someone else, but I took it back right away, and pose a peace sign.

He gives me a death glare again that sends shivers down my spine."You really love calling me in that name, huh?!" Then he grabs the top of my head, squeezing it so hard as if he wants to smash my head.

"AH-UGH!!THAT HURTS!!!" I only utter while trying to take off his hand from holding my head.

He finally lets go of my head then I immediately massage it while aching."Yah!! Why do you always have to hurt me?!! I am still a girl you know?!" I furiously complain at him but the jerk just gives me an annoying smirk.

"A girl? Sorry but I am an advocate of true gender equality plus you don't look like a girl for me, hahahahahaha!!" This psychopath just wants to mess around with me!

I TAKE IT BACK!! HE'S STILL A DEMON PRINCE!!!

"Don't you have anything to do in your life but to just mess with me, huh?! I thought we are already okay but you are still bullying me!!" then I glare at him. My blood is starting to boil just because of this guy.

"hahahahaha!Chill, okay? I am not trying to bully you. I am here to join both of you in lunch." He said then he puts down the tray that he's been holding this whole time and sits down beside me.

"Is that your lunch? Ew...Commoner's food." He said to my face while grimacing.

"If you are only here just to insult my food then you are free to go!!" I said as I try to push him away beside me.

"Hahaha! I am just kidding okay? Let me take a bite." then he grabs some of my food. He happily chews it as if he's really enjoying it.

"It's not that bad!" And he smiles at me.

He's just being nice and trying to be a decent human in front of me now.

But why he looks so suspicious to me?
