Rage

A/N : Some of you might say that Fay was too brutal, considering these were school bullies, but remember 'There are no mistakes,' -Master Oogway

Vincent rushed in front of me, blocking my path with his arm, "Run! Run before someone gets critically injured!"

"Th-They're just kids Fayden, lets just move past this," He whispered to me.

"Look at the old man trying to protect the kid, how embarrassing," The same guy mocked us.

Shall I show you what this 'Kid' is capable of?

"Move Uncle," I speak, making him shiver in fright.

"I'll handle this," the green haired kid said, holding a metal rod to use as a weapon.

He lunges towards me with the rod raised for a diagonal slash.

His face meets my fist in supersonic speed, to the untrained eye it would seem he just dropped unconscious.

"You little shit! Don't get cocky just because you caught him off guard!" The blond haired brat yells.

Grabbing his own rod he rushes forward, "I'll show you the difference between a peasant and a real noble trained in the way of the sword!"

He zigzags around me, intending to confuse me with his speed.

Unfortunately for him I was much faster.

Coming to a stop right in front of me he intends to stab me with the rod, as if it was a dagger.

Craning my neck, I avoid his blow grabbing the metal rod and delivering a kick to his temple sending him crashing to the wall.

My ways could be considered brutal, especially considering the broken nose and teeth I gave to the first one and the almost cracked skull to the second, but I was too angry to care.

The orange haired one, their so called leader smirks at me, "Cocky peasant,"

You're one to speak.

He drops his crowbar and gets into a brawling stance, but freezes under the bloodlus I was leaking.

He lunges towards me, but I don't stand around this time, no.

My leg muscles tense as I too rush at him, fist raised.

Just as it seemed collision was imminent, I disappeared from his line of sight.

Appearing behind him, I don't give him any time to react.

Grabbing his head I whisper, "How's that for fun?"

Before smashing his face on the hard ground, hard enough to form a small crater.

Eh, he'll live.

Turning back to my companions I see two of them look at me in fear, while Arthur Looked worried and Sylvie only curious.

That...was a bit too brutal you know?

I know Zeke, I know...

"Lets go," I say, my voice much more normal now.

But it seems the dumbass has a few more tricks under his sleeve as I feel mana condensing behind me.

Glancing back I see a spell headed our way.

Ready to react I prepare my mana to conjure a shield.

But before I could an ice wall formed behind us, protecting us from the spell.

Turning towards the one responsible I see a familiar face, one with porcelain white skin dark brown eyes and long black hair. Kathlyn Glayder. (Yes she's Kathlyn not Kathyln here, deal with it)

"What is the meaning of this?!" Her brother, Curtis bellows.

"Princess Kathlyn! Prince Curtis!" The orange haired boy sputtered out before bowing down, "Y-Your majesties. My friends and I were simply enjoying our time conversing when that barbarian started beating us up for no reason!"

Really now?

"What!" Elijah shouted, "You were the-"

He is cut off as the boy shouts even louder, "WE HAVE BEEN WRONGED!"

Curtis turns towards us, anger visible on his face, "Is that true!"

"With all due respect Prince Curtis, you've only heard the story of one side, as next in line for the throne shouldn't you be wise enough to listen to both sides before jumping to a conclusion? Or are you going to be the King responsible for the downfall of Sapin due to your poor decisions?" I spit out before turning away.

But I was stopped by a hand on my shoulder, "How dare you speak so casually to the prince of Sapin?!"

Not showing any emotion on my face I speak, "I'd suggest you unhand me, or I'll remove it myself,"

Unknown to me my eyes darkened ever so slightly, causing the guard to look at me in fear.

Suddenly Vincent comes in between us, "P-Please excuse my nephew. What he intended to say was that the boys over there are lying!"

Recognition flashes in Curtis' eyes, "Ah! Mister Vincent Helstea! What are you doing here?"

Vincent then began informing them about what actually happened, while I focus on reigning in my anger.

"You dare lie!" Curtis yells at the group of bullies.

"What is your name?!" He asks the orange haired brat.

"My name is Jamiel, firstborn son of House Tridant, Your Majesty." Jamiel stood up.

Curtis pondered on this, seems like this 'House Tridant' is an important family.

"Jamiel Tridant, your use of magic on public grounds is-" Kathlyn began.

"In the end no one was seriously hurt," Curtis cut in, "So if everyone agrees to get past this then-"

"Uncle Vincent, you have a two way communication scroll on you right?" Arthur asked.

"Yes, but what are you..." Vincent gave him the scroll, who opened it and spoke two words.

"Cynthia Goodsky,"

Suddenly her image appears on the scroll, "Vincent? You know I don't appreciate sudden-"

"Its the Leywin twins," Arthur interrupted.

"Ah, Arthur, Fayden, I'm so happy to hear from you! Its been too long," Her sudden change in tone left everyone gob smacked.

Staying silent I let Arthur speak, with how I am right now I can't risk offending her by being rude.

"I need you to expel a boy named Jamiel Tridant and his group of friends from your academy for racial bullying and use of lethal magic in the city," Arthur informed her.

"H-Hold on, what's with this sudden request," She began before stopping, as if realizing something, "Wait, did you say Jamiel...Tridant?"

"I don't think its-" She sputtered, but I spoke up,

"That is, if you still want us to attend your academy,"

Instantly she replied, "Done. They're expelled"

Causing several of the spectators to stare at us in deadpan.

Several minutes later medical wards approached us and placed the injured members on a stretcher.

Maybe I did overdo it.

These few minutes allowed me to calm down enough to apologize, "I apologize for my previous actions. My anger got the best of me,"

"I should be the one apologizing, It is unbecoming for a prince to be swayed so easily. And I thank you for getting those students expelled, House Tridant or no, I'm glad they won't be attending Xyrus." He replied.

Huh? Maybe he is better than the other stuck up nobles.

"There is no room for racism in this continent," He commented before getting on his carriage.

As we were leaving a soft voice caught my attention, "Uhm,"

Turning back I see the Princess standing up in the carriage, her hands on the edge of the window, "Would you like to have some tea together some time?"

I stay silent for a bit before replying, "Uh, sure"

Smiling at me she said, "I'll see you at school,"

Returning her smile I bow my head before turning back to see Elijah and Vincent with their jaws open, while Arthur looking at me with a raised eyebrow.

As I reached them Arthur whispered, "Looks like you caught the eye of a princess,"

"You're one to speak," I reply.

"It's not like that!" He sputters out.

"Sure it isn't" I reply, before speaking again, this time quiet enough that only he could hear,

"Besides, it's not like either of us can reciprocate their feelings..."
