To put it simple after selling the stuff I was rich. I was given millions of gold and a few hundred platinum coins. Obviously that stuff was useless for me, but they would be going to auctions for nobility and clothes.
"Speaking of clothes I could use something new." I muttered and looked around for a store. I found one not to far away from my position and went inside. I went in and bought the things I liked that were fit for my size.
Basically a lot of black clothes of all kinds. It was like a breezy sunny day so I was fine with what I had on at the moment, I still had style. Or not.
Moving on!
My total came out to like 500 gold. That's chump change I took out a bag of five hundred and put it there. I then just put the clothes in my inventory as well.
Honestly I could have used the crest, but 500 gold ain't a thing to me.
At this point the shocked expressions became normal. It wasn't even that big of a deal I'm just storing thing in a gap between space and time allowing the stored items to be the same as I did when I put them in there.
Shaking the thought away I left the store. What else to do? I could eat, but I'm not hungry nor thirsty, there is no type of entertainment in this world other than plays and poems which I don't want to read or watch.
I need a hobby
"Training, no, I could sing…nah, I've always wanted to learn how to draw." I muttered continuously as I walked around. In the manga they didn't show much of anything. All they did was train, fight, more trading and demon invasion.
Well there wasn't really time to explore the city anyway even in manga. It was still a nice read.
Back to my concern
I needed art supplies. Namely paper, pen or pencil, and a place to live. I was practically homeless.
'Damn, the first time I've heard of a homeless rich person.' I thought and started asking around if there is any place I could buy a house. The people were nice, but curious about why a kid like me would be able to buy a house.
When I got to a place that I could search for a house I was questioned by the woman there which landed me in my current predicament.
…
"Listen, I already told you I can get a house and I have the money that I earned." I said annoyed. We've been sitting here for like five minutes and honestly I didn't want to use the crest yet, because it would bring more attention than I want.
"So a what twelve year old kid was accepted as an adventurer and now you can afford your own house. I know you're lying because the guild doesn't accept if you're not at least 14." Said the brown haired girl in front of me. She was so confident that I wanted to throw her out the window.
I just took out my card and sword and slowly watched as her face morphed from confidence to shame into embarrassment.
"And you were so confident." I said and put them away.
"I'd like the cabin." I said. She nodded and I paid for the cabin. I got the location and left.
"How many times does a person have to say something for people to realize they aren't right, plus I know damn well I saw a fucking twelve year old in there leaning on the wall in a corner of other kids that looked like they just got into being a teen." I said as I walked down the streets. I could probably just teleport there, but I needed to buy furniture and stuff.
…After buying furniture and putting it in my inventory, I got to my cabin it was like the cabin's that are also used as homes or temporary places to live. I opened the door and walked in. The first thing I saw was how big the living room was. It was big enough that I could host a small party not that I will. I already knew how I wanted the place to be set up so I took out the couches, tables, and chairs and started setting things up.
From the door looking straight ahead is a set of stairs that lead to all the rooms. I had four rooms up there and they were decently big, but I only got furniture for my room. I didn't know if I might have someone here one day or what, but I didn't see myself having anyone stay in my house for free honestly.
I just laid out a king sized bed, a night stand, and a dresser along with shelves. After all I like to do a fair amount of reading. When I was done I went down stairs and into the open space that would be used as a kitchen. I don't have a fridge nor freezer, I don't have an oven, and I don't have a sink. It's like this place was just built out of the blue then left here.
The whole food situation wasn't a problem, because of my storage, but I did want an oven and sink to be in here. I could also go buy some seasonings to fill up the cabinets and I guess I'll need more food actually since I sold all the meat.
"Looks like I'll have to go shopping again. What a pain." I muttered with a sigh. I could also use the chance to learn about magical circuits if those exist in this world. They were never talked about in the manga, but it's a possibility. My cabin was a bit away from the town itself, but it was still nearby. I left my house and made my way back to town. It took about an hour, but that's because I was walking.
Noon had come to an end as the sky was slowly being painted with pink and autumn orange colors. The town was getting quiet and all that was left was a peaceful feeling as I walked along the streets of Lyngle. The first place I came a cross was a huge book store that looked like to be just as big as the guild and it was huge. Walking in I immediately went to the mage section.
"You aren't allowed in this area unless you're a mage of the kingdom." Said a lady with brown hair. I took out the crest, because I actually couldn't get out of this situation with money. They needed to know that I was seen as a VIP of sorts in this kingdom.
"T-then please continue your search and call if you need anything." She said and bowed before speed walking back to her desk. I just turned around and looked back at the huge number of books. They were split into sections, such as attack, defense, healing, support, enchantment and household magic.
They were also put on a level scale of 1-10 with ten being the hardest, but best. If I was being humble I'd say I'm a level 9 but honestly I'm a ten. I just need to learn the basics of enchantment magic and house hold magic had to do something with magic circuits. I took lots of those books from level one to ten and the books actually made copies appear as they were being took off the shelves.
That was neat.
Anyways!
I was allowed to walk out of here without paying, because of the crest and I just put the books directly into my inventory. Next on the list was food and seasonings. The stalls that sold them were almost gone and there wasn't much left to buy today anyway, so i just left and went home. I wasn't really hungry plus I have a few things I wanted to do with the magic circuits and enchantments anyway.
A/N Well that was one of the shortest chapters I've ever wrote, but how was it. I want to speed things up a bit because I really want to write about how gory the war will be in three years. Anyway, if you enjoyed join the discord server with me and other authors you might have read from.
