Valdora’s Gone

(Two years later/Present)

Sitting outside on my porch I was drinking tea and reading a newspaper. There has been talk about Valdora disappearing throughout the kingdom others. That obviously meant that Rimuru was finally here, but the news just came around yesterday, so he's probably sleep from naming all the goblins and dire wolves right now.

In the last two years I've had a few experiences. The first one was flying over to the dwarven kingdom and getting my sword remade. I obviously got it made by Kaiijin, because in the anime he was portrayed as the best blacksmith.

I provided the material and told him it would almost be indestructible and he happily accepted the challenge. Still though, it took three weeks to be done and I'm not even made with the outcome.

While I did get the sword remade, it was improved greatly. First, the sword weighs less, but is sharper and more durable than before. Second, it can be used to absorb and release magic, and lastly it's a double edged sword, this is better than a single edged sword because it can penetrate through armor better and it can be used to thrust instead of slashing, which is the main use of a katana.

Basically a double edged sword allows you to use two types of attacks with the same weapon and with better power and overall performance.

Now that my weapon was maybe indestructible since it has magisteel and this beast clowns and teeth in them, I basically only trained and went out for food. I don't really need to eat, but food is good and the town's people barely see me.

Physically I can carry around my 900k ton sword around with ease along with my weights. Lastly was my magic. Well mainly my spatial manipulation, but also my mana in general.

In this world, I replenish my mana from the magiculs that are left in the air itself. That combined with the huge sun allowed my mana to become much more pure and better in quality. My mana reserves basically quadrupled that of what I came here with.

Now with my spatial magic, I'm in the expert level. I have mastered, Floor tilting, location manipulation, momentum manipulation, reach control(different from distance manipulation). That's all for now. Still usually this would take centuries to master, but my body has been evolving and so has my brain, I'm able to focus on seven different things at once and it would be the same as me giving my focus to one thing.

Imagine that type of focus, processing, and understanding that would give me if I used it all on one thing. Doing that it took me about 8 months in total to completely master everything.

I guess I can be considered godly until things kick up I think. Well I don't really know, but I'll find out soon. While all that was happening I also have been making a name for myself. Although I'm not an adventurer, I do still want to go out and even though I don't need it, seeing the constant flow of money go into my storage is satisfying.

I'm a famous assassin. I started last year and yeah I get it. Why the fuck would you choose assassination over being an adventurer and really it's because of some of the shit I've witnessed in the past two years.

In this kingdom although I don't leave my house much I can still here and get a sort of image of what happens around this world and I can lower it to the kingdom. Honestly I thought that this kingdom would be better, because the anime didn't portray it as a dark place, but then again anime and real life are completely different.

There was a lot of pedophiles and rapist around this kingdom, I've also seen women getting abducted and put into a slave auction and we all know what happened after they're bought.

I've seen adventures take random men that just be minding there own business and beat them damn near to death and while I'm not really a good guy myself I'm not just going to watch. While I can make myself not see or hear it, the idea of going around and killing all those people makes me really excited.

Not in the sexual way.

So at nights I go dressed in some assassin clothes that I got made from the dark side of town. It was like a place made for dark trades and stuff. Of course they were also part of the auction stuff, so I killed some of them.

I don't use my sword to kill those types of people with. I mainly use daggers or throwing knives. Sometimes I use my magic as snipers and kill from a distance and by distance I mean the other side of the sea distance.

The orbs that I got from the other world can be used to bounce magic around and can be used as a camera or glass ball. I found that out after some research and experiments.

There is a bounty of about 7m gold on my head. I've killed some nobles before and a lot of shitty aristocrats so of course they keep raising the bounty. Not to mention I've killed adventurers who were thought to be good, but were actually horrible people.

People don't know it's me, but I got the name "Silent Killer" "Swift Shadow" "red blade". Honestly, they were cringy as hell, but they only made these names because before anyone could catch me I was gone, I always left the blooded dagger or throwing knives and when I used my magic I didn't bother to clean anything up and I didn't leave evidence at all.

That was mainly because I use wind magic and were gloves when I go to kill. I even killing in broad daylight sometimes. I was just really quick and smooth with it like how the assassins were in assassins creed.

I was definitely craving to go to a modern world soon.

That's all that's happened within two year which is nothing really. Well besides the fact that on the outside my house looks like a nice hunters cabin, but if you went into the closet that's by the bathroom that's supposed to be meant for towels.

You would see nothing but jewels, gemstones, gold, platinum, and other artifacts along with a shit ton of weapons. Yeah, I collected a lot of stuff when I killed nobles.

All I did was use the basic level space generation to make that small closet seem like a a huge facility filled with other valuable stuff. I still carry around my bokken and my other sword. I still haven't found a name for it though.

…I just realized how far off topic I got. Well whoever I'm monologuing to, like I said Rimuru should be sleep for the day and should wake up tomorrow and set out for the dwarven kingdom the next day. That should take three weeks if I remember correctly. With me having nothing to do for now I thought that instead of settling down in one place that I should go out and explores one of the untold things in this world. From what I've experienced since coming here from just one kingdom the world have to have some changes or be somewhat different than what the anime portrayed.

I'm 5'1 or 154cm and I'm starting to get my former body back. Now you've got to be stupid if you think after all the bullshit training that I do, that I don't have muscles. I have a perfectly streamlined six-pack and defined muscles even when I'm not flexing.

There hasn't been anything that I couldn't heal, so my skin is perfectly smooth. It's actually why I were long sleeves and trench coats so much. It would be weird for a twelve year old to walk around with the type of body I have.

I sometimes catch myself checking my body out in the mirror I bought when I get from a hot springs I made. Yeah, my plot of land wasn't big enough, but with space creation I made it big enough.

Now as I was done drinking my tea, I packed everything besides the eggs up. I still wanted them to incubate, but I still haven't mastered how to make my own dimension.

I just put my leviathan egg in a cold bubble of water and I used wind magic to carry the emperors egg and beast god egg. While I also used it to make the heating runes cover them.

Well the past is in the past. I left the walls around my house so that the people on the outside couldn't see what was going on and I used teleportation to get outside the kingdom.

Making sure I was far enough from the kingdom walls so no one could see me, I flew at a moderate speed in the direction of the Jura forest. I wasn't going because there would be lots of monsters out there or anything, but I was going because it would be nice to have a house out in the forest again.

After all I was basically secluded even while inside the kingdom of whatever it's called. So, I just followed a map of the "world" I memorized and soon I was at my destination. Besides the kingdom was basically on the outskirts of the forest.

"Hmm, where should I set up. I know for a fact I'm a ways away from the goblin village or whatever it is right now." I muttered as I walked around the forest.

"Fuck it, here should be fine." I said and with a wave of my hand a scythe like wind blade cut down the huge trees around me.

Of course I didn't cut down that many trees because I was only putting down a cabin/vault here. Well I was going to make me another hot spring and wall it off, might make a pool as well.

Actually I might as well make this a modern type of house, but keep the appearance of a cabin. I can do a lot of things with runes…except for WiFi, service, cellphones, and any form of television.
