Charybdis gets clapped

We stepped through the portal and appeared in the conference room with Rimuru and everyone else present. Along with them was Treyni's younger sister, Toraia. She had a dark aura around her and she looked almost faded.

"Sir Akihito, Ms. Mia." She said with a slight bow.

"What's going on?" I asked seeing the serious expressions on everyone's face.

"We've just been notified that Charybdis has revived and he's on his way here." Rimuru said with a sigh.

"The ruler of the skies huh." I mused.

"You know about it?" He asked.

"A little it's an ancient beast that has power that rival a demon lords, so it was feared back then. It got sealed up though." I answered with a plain tone.

"My elder sister is restraining it for now, but she can't hold out any longer." Toraia said.

"I see now. Well as the chancellor I have no choice but to do this. Benimaru start organizing a counter attack. Rigurd start an evacuation of the city!!" Rimuru said.

"Can Milim fight too?" Milim asked as she looked at Rimuru hopefully.

"Nope, I don't want to rely on you for everything after all this is my City. Plus I want to flaunt this form." He said. I couldn't tell what was on his mind, but it must have been something about Shizu since his eyes went sad for a second.

"No fair, Milim doesn't get to do anything!!" She said pouting as she looked away.

"It's cool. At least we get a nice show." I said.

With that the meeting ended and the city was evacuated. They planned to meet the monster on the road that was built to the Dwarven Kingdom.

As we made our way to the road on our pillows with Mia sitting with me, I could hear Rimuru sighing. I guess he was talking to great sage.

He has immunity to most magic attacks. He has magic jamming disturbing the flow of magic. He also has high speed regeneration, meaning although physical attacks are his weaknesses he can regenerate almost instantly.

He's also from the spirit world so he has megalodones with it. Me, Mia, and Milim were off to the side watching and a few moments later there was a large energy signal right in front of us.

"So that's Veldora's child?" I muttered. It wasn't his actual child, but it was made from Veldora's magical aura. Within a moment's notice Benimaru already shot a hellflare at one of the megalodones.

*KABOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!*

The ball blew up and once the flames cleared the magalodon was gone, not even ashes were left behind. The others within range had chunks of skin burning and burned causing them to panic.

With a loud roar which caused me to cover my ears they looked down at us while Charybdis just hovering over us.

"Lord Rimuru let us handle this." Shion said as she stepped forward and took out her sword. Looking at the sword itself was good, but I could do better with matter creation.

In fact all of their weapons looked quite simple. Definitely don't match they power.

Rimuru nodded and sat back. There were way more megalodon's than the anime, about 30 to be exact.

One of them smashed into the ground making a huge crater and ruining the road. Me, Mia, Rimuru, and Milim flew up into the sky. We watched as Benimaru burned them to nothing, Souei made them kill each other.

Shion and Ranga teamed up and Shion killed some with a simple straightforward attack. Milim tried to get in, but Rimuru denied her.

Just then there was this sound like bees cutting the wind.

It was millions of his scales coming off of his body and targeting everything. Some flew past me and I put them into my storage.

"I'll handle it from here on so everyone else can relax." Rimuru said as he absorbed the rest of the scales. He then flew towards towards Charybdis like a bullet, but once he was close enough he suddenly stopped.

"There's someone in here." He said with a sigh. I guess he was about to use gluttony to absorb him.

Putting his hand on it's body, I saw cracks run down it's body like flowing lava spilling out of a volcano. Then it blew up with blood and chunks of meat flying everywhere.

Forbio's body was falling from the sky and he caught him before he could hit the ground.

"Well that's new." The fight was over with barely any destruction and no casualties. It also took less than 15 minutes unlike the anime that took 10 hours.

They went back to the ground and we followed.

"If you leave him like that he'll only revive from Forbio." I informed him. He took his coat off and put his hair into a ponytail.

"Aye what you bout to do?" I asked as I looked at him strangely.

"I'm gonna separate the two." He said looking at me seriously. I nodded my head and he put his hands over the black heart and a black aura came from his body.

He was invoking gluttony and shapeshifter at the same time with great sage helping maintain the skills.

Within a few moments he was done. Forbio got up and looked around before getting on his hands and knees with his head to the ground and apologizing. He also asked that he be killed instead of waging a war with demon lord Carion.

"Bruh chill. It ain't even that serious." I said. Rimuru's stepped forward and sighed.

"Just like he said it's no problem plus I did put in some work to save you so I'd rather not kill you off." He said.

"Aye whoever looking at me over there need to stop. Creep." I said looking over at Carrion who came from the shadows.

"I see I was found." He said looking at me with a smile showing off his sharp teeth.

I was about to speak when a gust of went sent a leaf in my mouth. I heard a snicker and I looked over to Mia covering her mouth and shaking her head. I took the leaf from my mouth and looked at Treyni who started talking to Forbio.

To sum it up she was asking about how he knew where the seal was and he said it was some people with clown masks and outfits that showed him.

"You mean Tear and Footman?" I asked.

"You know them?"

"I had a run in with them before, but not recently." I lied. I drew a picture of the masks they wore and everyone looked at them seriously.

"I've never heard of them before. What if it's Clayman? He's a sly demon lord." Milim said as she sat on the ground.

"Clayman would do something like this." Carrion chimed in with a tired sigh.

"No wonder he wanted to go scout this forest by himself. I think he's planning something." Carrion said.

"Just go along with it." I commented.

"Yeah, act like you normally would so that he thinks he's still hidden. If he's the one doing this then you both can handle it right. After all he almost got one of your subordinates killed and he was about to destroy Rimuru's city." Mia said as she pointed to them.

"That sounds fun." Milim said. Carrion nodded his head with a smirk.

"If that's all I'll take my leave." Treyni said. With a formal bow she left in a flurry of leaves.

"Well there's not concrete proof, but let's go with that. Tonight we're celebrating!!" Rimuru announced.

"Forbio and Carrion, you're free to go." Rimuru said.

"Wait. As thanks for saving my subordinates life I will grant you any one request." He said.

"Then sign a non-aggression pact with me." Rimuru said.

"I, Beast King Carrion, hereby swear Yuurazania will never bare its fangs towards Tempest. In a few days I'll send an envoy to thank you properly." He said and they left.

In an open room there were two people. One sitting in a throne that looked meant for royalty and the other looking out the window. Demon lord Clayman and Frey were in the room in silence.

"It seems that slime took out Charybdis quite easily. At least your mind is at ease right?" He asked. He didn't sound worried, but he sounded like a snake.

"I guess. Did you want me for something Clayman?" Frey asked as she turned to look at him.

"Nah." He replied.

She looked at him for a moment as he sipped his wine. Walking over to him she sat on the arm of his throne and got in his face.

"What exactly are you planning?" She asked. Clayman didn't seem phased by this at all.

"I'm just helping out a friend in need." He said.

"Sure."

"Well since you insist, you could do me a favor next time." He said with a smile.

"Next time? Don't you mean now?" Frey said as she sat in his lap.

"You heard me. For example when the Walpurgis Banquet comes around." He said with a smirk.

Frey frowned for a moment before getting up.

"As long as it's within my abilities." She looked back at him and continued.

"Thanks for the trouble. And farewell Clayman." She said and disappeared in a flash of light.

He simply drank his wine in thought.

(Third POV)

It's been a few days since the fight with Charybdis. The town was peaceful and everything went back to normal. Akihito has been Sparring with everyone for a while and even Shuna was sent to the eight rings of hell and trained for a few days as well.

Just because she was a shrine maiden that didn't mean she couldn't be strong. They even taught her how to fight with razor edge fans that could channel magic.

Akihito has also been doing his own training aside from Mia's because while she is incredibly strong they just aren't on the same level yet. He also wanted to practice with his astral form to strengthen his soul. He didn't know how so he used Meditation while in his astral form and received energy.

He didn't know if his soul was strengthened, but it felt that way. The stuff around him kinda died though, so he guessed that he was getting essence from living things instead of magical energy.

Mia didn't stop her training and she was actually growing nicely. She master the use of dark force and she's mastered a lot of things with her malevolent and benevolent manipulation. She basically the incarnation of good and evil while being able to control what is and isn't.

Milim got her dragon knuckles. Fuze went to his country to convince the nobles to form a peaceful relationship with Tempest. Forbio has been bringing news from Yuurazania hoping to be a courier.

He wasn't a bad guy, he just had anger problems and didn't think much. He was actually acting with respect whenever he visited. Milim and Rimuru have been training with each other since he's actually something of a challenge for her.

After all many things in this world is decided by strength. They've also been planning out the fighting tournament, not much but it's coming along.

Everyone has been busy and life has been going well. It was like a time of peace before another storm of bullshit. Akihito and Mia have been making new clothes since Mia convinced him that only wearing black won't do him any good.

Well she was right but wrong so they made a lot of different cloths. He still wears the classic though. It was his favorite.

Rimuru still didn't want to be a demon lord, Akihito didn't care about it for now, and Mia just didn't want to get involved in all that mess. However she was welcomed into their little group?

Well she received a pillow.

Milim started opening up more, but she can't even remember why or how she became a demon lord. The people who "cared" for her actually fear her so as it turns out they're her only friends which they were more than okay with.

Mia however seemed mad that people feared her, but I cooled her down. After all even Milim didn't care or do it seemed that way.

It was now time for Rimuru to leave and go handle what's been in his bucket list for a while.

Well not now though, after all he still had things to take care of.

After absorbing Charybdis core Rimuru got a lot of skills such as gravity manipulation. Now he can fly freely without bat wings.

(Akihito POV)

"Everyone, as you know me and the Yuurazania kingdom are sending Delegates to form a relationship. In a few days we'll meet. I want everyone to be on their best behavior and I want this place to be spotless. Shuna if you don't mind could you get some food prepped?" Rimuru said.

The only reason I was hear was because Carrion said that he'd like to have a non aggression pact with me as well. I just decided to go with Rimuru and bring Mia.

Everyone nodded and for the next few days everyone has been cleaning and just making sure to act with curtsy to not look bad.

"Mia let's go, we gonna be late." I said using super voice for her to hear me. I wasn't a fan of being loud and it was actually annoying.

"I'm coming." She appeared out of a dark force portal in some of the new clothes we made.

If I'm being honest while they are formal I actually like these clothes. I even decided to put my sword on my hip instead of my storage. Of course these clothes were still weighted.

I nodded and opened a portal where I felt Rimuru and everyone else were waiting. Milim had already left like two days ago for a meeting. We walked through the portal and everyone seemed underdressed.

I mean this was something formal, but meh. I walked next to Rimuru with Mia next to me and we spoke.

"How long have you been waiting?" I asked.

"Not that long. Don't you guys think that's a little much?" He said as he laughed nervously.

"I mean this is something formal and all, I just chose to dress the part." I explained.

"They're here." Mia said. We looked and saw a caravan being pulled by some tigers with electricity coming off of them.

"Well, let's hope this goes good." Rimuru said.
