4 days before the trial, Weiss was ordered by Duke Montampes to assault the headquarters of the Black Mambas. Weiss accepted the task, no questions asked, but he needed to prepare a little.


Raiding a mercenary headquarters would be a good experience for Luka, so he decided to bring him along.


Weiss summoned his Umbra Squad. This squad is a group he personally trained for reconnaissance, assassinations, and other tasks that requires stealth. It is a lot like the Shadow Troop of the Black Mambas. They were the ones that ambushed Luka when he was tested by Weiss for his reactions when dealing with ambushes.


Weiss thought it was time for Luka to be properly introduced to the Umbra Squad.


The old butler went out to the training grounds. There he found Luka sparring with Rebecca.
