Time Passes By

"Heup!" My sword swing didn't reach far enough. William backstepped at just the right moment to avoid the tip of my sword.

With the momentum of my initial swing, I connected another attack by slashing in the opposite direction. It contained more force behind it and used a little trick up my sleeve.

The wooden sword instantly reached William and he was forced to block it. Despite the distance between us, the gap was close without me even taking a single step forward.

My arm was stretched out quite farther than is normally possible. The reason for that is that each joint of my arm—the shoulder, the elbow, and a few knuckle bone joints—dislocated to increase the reach of my attack.

Each joint popped back in with great force, sending a searing pain make made my entire arm feel like it was on fire. But I was already used to it.
