The receptionist took the burlap sack and opened it. Inside was a decapitated head of a notorious criminal who had been kidnapping young children to sell to slavery. Unlike the Hedal Kingdom, the Sosite Dukedom outlawed any form of slavery. 

Criminals like the man Luka recently decapitated commit human trafficking, selling abducted children to countries that allow slavery like Hedal. Such lawbreakers run rampant in Sosite, as the slave trade pays quite handsomely. 

As someone who was a victim of the slave trade, Luka took pleasure in hunting down the crooks who abduct people and sell their victims to slavery.
