A cult... I can't fucking believe a cult is in this place. I guess the most peaceful places have the darkest sides too.

But what is Luffy's relationship with this cult? It couldn't be that he's trying to lure me in, right?

His cries for my help earlier seemed genuine, so maybe I could trust him. But... this still gives me a bad vibe.

A dude with a broken power shows up, finds out my identity, and then asks for my help to defeat a cult.

For now, I'll take anything he says with a grain of salt.

Luffy started sniffling and tried his best to explain. But... he couldn't.

"I... they... haah... haah... no...! no...!"

It's like fears taking hold of him. Trauma is having a death grip on his heart.

I slapped him awake to drag him back to reality.

His cheek slightly swelled, but it worked. His eyes don't look hazy anymore and are focused.
