(CHAPTER 33) NEONS DEATH?

"Farewell Neon" As Keith hastily retreated, Master Hiro burst into the vacinity, his presence exuding an aura of power and determination. With a swift and decisive motion, he shattered the dark chains that had held Neon captive, liberating him from his demonic prison.

With a newfound surge of hope, Neon regained his composure, preparing to join Master Hiro in the battle against Mordred however, Master Hiro looked at him with a face that rejected Neons idea. "Stay there Neon, you'll only hold me back." Hiro said as he turned towards the demon. "I can take care of him myself."

The clash between light and darkness was about to unfold. Mordred, his eyes narrowing with malice, met Master Hiro's gaze. The atmosphere crackled with tension as the two forces, one fueled by chaos and the other by malice, collided in a cataclysmic clash. "BACK FOR MORE I SEE." Bellowed the demon with a slight grin on its face." "I will not let you escape from me again demon." Said Hiro with determination to vanquish the evil that stood before him.

Master Hiro, wielding his formidable powers of chaos manipulation, unleashed a torrent of energy against Mordred. The forest trembled with the raw force of their confrontation, their powers intertwining in a dance of destruction and resilience.

As the battle raged on, Neon watched in awe as Master Hiro demonstrated his unparalleled skill and determination. Blow after blow, the demon's defenses were tested, his malevolent energy clashing with Master Hiro's unwavering resolve.

With each strike, the demon's arrogance waned, his confidence faltering in the face of Master Hiro's indomitable spirit. Neon felt a surge of hope, knowing that he was not alone in his struggle against the forces of darkness.

As the battle reached its climax, a deafening roar reverberated through the forest. Master Hiro, fueled by his unyielding will, unleashed a final surge of chaotic energy, overwhelming Mordred's defenses. "Damn you! it will not end like it did before. I will not lose to a pathetic human, though your powers are formidable, you will never best me!" The demon said as it roared in protest. Blades of chaotic energy sliced through the air, lashing at Mordred with incredible speed. The demon fought back, his monstrous form clawing and biting at Hiro. But the chaos manipulation proved too much for Mordred to handle, as he struggled to keep up with the ever-shifting attacks.

However, something changed within the demon. A surge of anger coursed through his veins, amplifying his power. Mordred's aura shifted from its original black hue to a deep, fiery red. The ground trembled beneath him as his strength grew exponentially. "What is this? Was he holding back in our previous fight?" Thought Master Hiro as he approached the battle more cautiously. "Here is another power that few have pushed me to use....you humans really are interesting!" Hiro stood his ground not deterred in the slightest. He was ready for any attack the demon would throw at him, however, the speed of Mordred's attacks changed so dramatically, making it close to impossible for Hiro to react in time.

Mordred unleashed a wave of telekinetic force, sending Master Hiro hurtling through the air. Hiro crashed into the ground, his body aching from the impact. Before he could regain his footing, Mordred used his thermokinetic abilities to blast Hiro with searing heat. The intense flames licked at Hiro's body, scorching his flesh and forcing him to retreat.

Seeing an opportunity to press the advantage, Mordred erected a crimson demonic barrier. The barrier crackled with dark energy, pulsating with malevolence. Even with Hiro's mastery over chaos manipulation, he found himself unable to breach the barrier's defenses. "As much as I'd love to continue our battle, I still have some unfinished business with Open Wound and his weakling of a vessel. Don't worry human, you'll be next so just wait your turn." Mordred started to grin as he began making his way towards Neon. " I cant seem to even put a scratch on this barrier. Dammit, how could I let this happen. NEON! hang in there...." Neon looked towards Master Hiro, his hope of survivng this onslaught slowly melted away. Once again, it was him....and the demon. As Hiro attempted to dismantle the barrier, strange and grotesque creatures began to spawn on the outside, the twisted offspring of Mordred's dark powers. Hiro's focus shifted, and he found himself fending off the relentless assault of these abominations.

One by one, Hiro dispatched the grotesque creatures with calculated strikes of chaotic energy. But for every creature he defeated, two more would take its place. The sheer number of enemies overwhelmed Hiro, forcing him to fight tooth and nail just to keep them at bay.

Time seemed to stretch on as Hiro battled fiercely, his energy waning with each passing moment. He knew he couldn't hold out much longer. Determination surged through him as he gathered his remaining strength, preparing for one final, desperate attempt.

Gathering chaos energy within himself, Hiro unleashed a monumental burst of power. The chaotic energy surged through his veins, his entire being becoming a conduit for raw, unbridled chaos. With an explosive force, Hiro's blast struck the demonic barrier killing all the creatures along the way, however, the devastating attack didnt leave so much as a dent as fragments of chaos energy scattered across the battlefield. Hiro stood there in disbelief, the realisation of his attack having no effect struck at him like a lightning bolt. "Even if you were 100 times as powerful, your attacks would still have no effect against my barrier. The only thing that can penetrate this barrier is angelic weapons or angelic powers." Mordred began to laugh hysterically upon seeing Master Hiro's angered face which exerted only fury. Even HE couldnt do a single thing to harm the demon, which made Mordred that much more satisfied. "DAMN YOU DEMON." Yelled Hiro, banging his fist on the barrier, a fire burning in his eyes. with a wave of its hand, the demon spawned more creatures from his barrier causing Hiro to clash with them once again. With a final smirk, the demon turned away from Hiro, locking eyes with Neon once more. As Neon found himself facing the approaching menace of Mordred. Fear gripped his heart, his bones trembling with trepidation. He despised the weakness he felt, the way it gnawed at his very essence. Determined to rise above his fear, Neon took a deep breath, burying his apprehension deep within.

As Mordred drew closer, a malicious grin etched upon his twisted face, Neon steeled himself. He refused to let fear dictate his actions any longer. With newfound resolve, he stepped forward to face the demon head-on. "(sigh) All I want is a challenging fight, so how about we spice things up a little hehe." The demon delighted in the suffering of his opponents, craved the taste of true fury. To ignite that fire within Neon, Mordred twisted his form, taking the shape of Neon's dear friend. Karla, once lively and vibrant, had been subjected to the demon's sadistic torture, her body broken beyond recognition. "Do you remember what happened to me Neon. I fought against the demon to protect you! I fell victim to its sadistic torture. My body was left broken.....where the hell were you....!" Said the demon as it mocked the form it was wearing. Upon hearing this, something snapped within Neon. Rage overpowered every emotion and every cell in his body electrifying his it with power. "HOW DARE YOU TAKE HER FORM, STOP DEFILING HER. SHE WOULD NEVER SAY THAT!!" The sight of Karla reminded him of the agonizing state she must have been in. It ignited a primal fury within Neon, shattering the wall of fear that had consumed him. Neon's eyes blazed with determination as he confronted Mordred, no longer willing to cower in the face of darkness. "THERE IT IS...THAT'S WHAT I WANT!" Said the demon looking upon the aura of rage that emanated from Neon.

Harnessing his inner power, Neon transformed into his shadow form, his body enveloped by an ethereal darkness. This shadowy cloak heightened his senses, amplifying his perception and granting him an advantage in battle. Neon could feel the pulsating energy coursing through his veins, his fury becoming a tangible force.

The clash between Neon and Mordred was a whirlwind of violence and power. Neon moved with an agility and precision fueled by his righteous anger. Shadows danced around him, serving as extensions of his wrath. Every strike was executed with deadly accuracy, driven by the desire to avenge Karla's suffering.

Mordred, though taken back by Neon's sudden transformation, reveled in the chaos of battle. He parried Neon's attacks with sadistic glee, relishing the challenge Neon now presented. The demon's power surged, matching Neon blow for blow, testing the limits of his newfound fury.

Neon's eyes burned with intensity as he unleashed a barrage of shadowy strikes. Each blow landed with an unforgiving force, leaving Mordred reeling. The demon's twisted form contorted with both pain and satisfaction. "HAHAHAHA, IS THAT ALL YOU'VE GOT." Bellowed the demon as it thirsted for more. Master Hiro who was now struggling on fighting the creatures as he had used a lot of energy, was keeping a close eye on the battle. "He's actually keeping up with it, or maybe it's just playing with him....dammit is there an end to these stupid creatures." It was easy to kill the creatures, however, with each kill, two more would spawn from the demonic barrier. Master Hiro fought valiantly against the never-ending onslaught of creatures that spawned from Mordred's demonic barrier. His chaos manipulation powers were pushed to their limits as he unleashed wave after wave of chaotic energy to fend off the horde. However, exhaustion began to creep into his bones, draining his strength with each passing moment.

As Hiro's weariness threatened to overwhelm him, salvation arrived in the form of the heads of the school, Mr. Cardinel and Mr. Xander. They assessed the dire situation, recognizing the desperate need for their intervention. With determination in their eyes, they joined the battle alongside Master Hiro. Mr. Cardinel, a master of light manipulation, raised his hands, calling upon radiant energy. Brilliant beams of light erupted from his palms, illuminating the battlefield. The creatures recoiled in the face of this divine radiance, their dark forms dissolving under the intense luminosity. Cardinel's light powers acted as a purifying force, cleansing the area and providing respite for Hiro.

Meanwhile, Mr. Xander focused his mind, tapping into his formidable psionic abilities. Waves of psychic energy emanated from him, cascading through the air like invisible tendrils. The creatures, their minds vulnerable to Xander's mental prowess, writhed in pain as their thoughts were manipulated and disrupted. Their attacks became disorganized and feeble, allowing Hiro and the others to gain the upper hand. Hiro, revitalized by the combined efforts of his allies, renewed his resolve. The weariness that had plagued him moments ago was replaced by a surge of determination. He channeled the remaining fragments of his chaotic energy, striking with newfound precision and power.

Together, the trio fought in perfect harmony. Hiro's chaotic energy clashed with the creatures, while Mr. Cardinel's radiant light bathed the battlefield, and Mr. Xander's psionic force shattered the enemies' resolve. The tide of battle shifted, with the creatures now on the defensive.

As the last of the creatures fell, the battlefield fell silent. It seemed that no more creatures were spawning from the demonic barrier. Hiro, Mr. Cardinel, and Mr. Xander stood amidst the aftermath, their bodies marked by the signs of a hard-fought victory. Hiro's gratitude overflowed as he expressed his appreciation to the heads of the school for their timely assistance.

Mr. Cardinel and Mr. Xander then exchanged determined glances. They understood that their next task was to dismantle the demonic barrier that confined them within its suffocating grip. With confidence in their abilities, they stepped forward, ready to unleash their powers upon the malevolent barrier.

Mr. Cardinel extended his hands once again, summoning the radiant light that emanated from his being. Beams of luminosity surged forth, crashing against the barrier's dark surface. Despite the brilliance of his light manipulation, the barrier remained steadfast, absorbing and deflecting his attacks. Mr. Xander, too, exerted his psionic might, employing his mental prowess to penetrate the barrier's defenses. He focused his concentration, attempting to unravel the intricate web of energy that bound it. But, to his dismay, the barrier remained unyielding, mocking his efforts.

Master Hiro, observing their futile attempts, approached his fellow warriors with a solemn expression. He spoke with a calm yet resolute tone, "I appreciate your unwavering determination, but the barrier can only be broken by pure powers of light."

Cardinel and Xander glanced at one another, their brows furrowed in concern. "But, Hiro, my light alone is able to vanquish the darkness. I should be able to penetrate this demonic barrier with my light" Cardinel protested, his voice tinged with frustration. "Shouldn't his powers be sufficient?" Said Mr Xander with confusion.

Hiro shook his head, his gaze fixed on the unyielding barrier. "The barrier emanates with a malevolence that requires a purer and opposing force to dismantle it. When I said powers of pure light, I meant Angelic powers. It's divine light and righteousness, are the key to its dissolution."

Xander's voice carried a hint of resignation as he accepted Hiro's explanation. "I understand. But how would we even call upon angelic forces to aid us in this battle. After all, they are all gone." As they looked at one another in defeat, they could do nothing but have faith that Neon would prevail in this battle.

As they payed close attention to the ferocious battle. Mr. Cardinel and Mr. Xander Valerian, their eyes widened in astonishment at the sheer display of power unfolding before them. They observed Neon and Mordred, recognizing the potential for devastation that lay within their abilities. The battle had escalated beyond their initial expectations, and the heads of the school were captivated by the raw energy pulsating in the air. "Well how about that, he's actually going toe to toe with that demon. Just how strong is he?" Thought Mr Cardinel impressed at Neons display of courage. "I thought he was in league with the demons, yet here he is fighting against his own kind." Said Mr Xander with confusion. "Maybe we were wrong about him, maybe he IS the key to saving humanity." Said Master Hiro clenching his fists. All three men felt powerless as they could do nothing but watch at what was unfolding before their very eyes.

As the battle raged on, Neon roared in anger as his fury only intensified. Suddenly, as his rage surged within him, his powers intensified to extraordinary levels. The black aura that had once cloaked his shadow form transformed into a blazing, fiery red. The powerful aura danced around him, amplifying his strength and making him an even more formidable opponent against Mordred. The power he now wielded seemed limitless, a force to be reckoned with. "HAHAH, I KNEW YOU HAD STRENGTH WITHIN YOU KID BUT THIS IS AMAZING. AAAAH YOUR JUST FULL OF SURPRISES!!" Yelled the demon as it reveled in the battle of chaos.

For a time, Neon had the upper hand, his fiery aura engulfing his strikes as he delivered devastating blows to Mordred. The demon reeled under Neon's relentless assault, struggling to withstand the sheer force of his attacks. The intensity of the battle escalated, leaving all those present in awe of the demonic power on display.

However, Mordred, who laughed maliciously throughout the battle, started to get serious. The black aura surrounding him twisted and transformed, mirroring Neon's fiery red. With a surge of demonic energy, Mordred's attacks intensified, striking Neon with brutal force. Blow after blow rained down upon Neon, causing him to stagger and falter.

As Mordred gained the upper hand, pummeling Neon to the ground, the heads of the school exchanged concerned glances. They recognized the need for intervention before Neon was overcome by Mordred's might, but they couldn't do anything to help....All they could do was just watch....

As Mordred's relentless assault continued, Neon's body writhed in agony. The demon's demonic powers tore through him, causing excruciating pain with each strike. Fear gripped Neon's heart as he realized the true extent of his powerlessness. He could no longer keep up with the demons ferocious power. He could only endure the torment, hoping for a miracle to save him from this dire predicament.

"It looks like you have nothing more to offer me. You did entertain me, there's no doubt about that, but if you can't keep up, then it's time to end your worthless existence." It said with a wide grin.

Neon found himself cornered, his every move effortlessly countered by the superior foe. Desperation took hold as Mordred conjured a sinister, demonic weapon, its dark aura pulsating with lethal intent. With a swift and merciless strike, Mordred aimed to end Neon's existence. At that moment, everything seemed to slow down in the eyes of Neon. "This is it....I'm going to die now....why....why....WHY AM I SO POWERLESS!" Neons thoughts began to plunge him into the depth of his despair. But in that critical moment, a dormant force within Neon stirred to life. The clash of Mordred's weapon against Neon's weakened defenses triggered a profound transformation. Despite the weapons swift movement, Neon stood in his place as if the attack never hit him. Feathers sprouted from Neon's back, spreading into magnificent wings that shimmered with contrasting energies.

Neon's wings embodied the duality that had been awakened within him. The right wing radiated a soft, angelic luminescence, while the left wing emanated a dark and ominous aura. The fusion of angelic and demonic power marked Neon as a being caught between two realms, a unique force that defied the conventions of light and darkness.

The revelation of this newfound form kindled a spark of hope within Neon's heart. He could feel an angelic presence pulsating within him, empowering him with unwavering resolve and divine energy. The subconscious within him, which aided him in his battles, recognized this transformation and offered Neon a choice.

"Summon the Angel Blade?" this feeling....this weapon....resonated within Neon's mind, its powers echoing with purpose.....
