chapter 2

Breath stuttered out of Izuku as he looked at the ceiling. The five year old was used to this, getting kicked or punched, even stabbed and burned. He created a understanding with the pain, and now it rarely hurt the poor boy.

"Your a monster." was all his mother said before she left her son to bleed right by the door.

He was also used to that. His mother was always abusing him, and it was all because of his quirk. A quirk that controls blood, a villainess quirk or at least that's what his father said before he left. His mother thought the same thing, and hated Izuku ever since her husband left.

Izuku took a deep breath as he brought his blood back into his body and sealed his wounds. He was used to this, so why? Why did it hurt him every time, why did his body feel fine after being stabbed over and over but his feelings hurt? Something as small as feelings, that's what hurt after every beating.

'That's so cool! How is that villainess?'

That girl....she understood him just like he understood her. He found himself wanting to talk to her, befriend her, protect her. He smiled slightly as he remembered he was going to meet her at the park tomorrow and trudged off to his bedroom.

Izuku sighed as he tapped the chain of the swing he was sitting on. Toga should have been here fifteen minutes ago and Izuku was freaking out. Was she hurt? Did something bad happen? Did she just not want to see him?

"Izu-chan?"

Izuku turned around, his eyes meeting tear filled yellow. But that wasn't what made rage fill his little body, no. What made him angry was the bruises and the cuts covering Toga's face and body. He walked over to the girl and placed his hands on her face.

Toga clenched her eyes shut as her jaw hardened, like she was expecting a beating. When she felt nothing she slowly opened her yellow hues to see tear filled green staring at her with concern.

"Izu-chan?" Toga repeated as she stared at Izuku in confusion.

Then she felt it. Her face that was once sore and painful, felt fine. Like nothing happened the night before.

"I healed you." Izuku said softly as he looked at the girl with concern, "Who did that to you?"

"My momma." Toga said quietly as Izuku led her to the swings.

"Toga?" Izuku asked as Toga's yellow eyes shot to his, "Next time that happens, I want you to call me! We're friends right?"

"Right!"

They both felt better, they had each other.

Izuku walked past his mother passed out on the couch as he headed to the door. The bitch got drunk and passed out on the couch, again. He pulled his shoes on and grabbed the red package hidden by the door and left the hell hole he called home.

The seven year old Izuku Midoriya walked to the park that Toga and him always met at. He saw his old friend Katsuki Bakugo acting like the egotistical kid he was and quickly headed to the large hill by the park. He never told anyone his quirk because of his fathers reaction, Izuku could only take so much.

Izuku bowed his head to dodge a low handing tree branch as he spotted a familiar sign.

'Danger Do Not Pass'

Toga and him put that there so no one would find their secret meeting place. After a few more minutes, Izuku walked up to their little hang out area. He walked through the small door to see Toga sitting on a red bean bag chair while wrapping her hair into space buns as she humming softly.

Izuku couldn't help but smile, it took months for Toga to smile with no reason. He crept up to her and placed his hands on her shoulders as he yelled,

"Boo!"

Toga screamed as she jumped, her wide yellow eyes landed on Izuku and she huffed.

"Really Izu-chan!?" Toga yelled as she pointed a finger at him.

"Happy birthday Togie." Izuku smiled softly as he showed her the package wrapped in blood red paper.

Toga squealed as she hugged Izuku, then grabbed the package and unwrapped it. Her wide, tear-filled eyes landed on Izuku as she sent him a watery smile.

"Izu-chan!" Toga cried as she hugged a new set of blood red throwing knives to her chest, "Thank you, I love them!"

Izuku smiled softly as he hugged the gushing girl. His smile turned to a hateful glare as soon as his face went into her neck as he healed a large bruise on her arm. He was going to kill Toga's mother, that was a promise.
