16 year old Sato Higura was a loner, he purposely was. He wanted to not be bothered so he could write his novels and do the things he liked without people knowing or interrupting. However, it seems his personality and interests that he normally hides were just too likable to the point where he was surrounded by a harem of girls! He of course wanted to be alone, but alas...the harem was inevitable.

When I finish all of the main plot points and reach the ending of the story I plan on writing alternate endings which can all be considered cannon, it doesn’t matter the order they release in, you just choose whoever you consider to be best girl.

This story is intended to be fun, so some chapters may be extremely short while some may be long, just thought I’d say that.

For everyone who didn’t know, all of my books are part of the same universe, meaning characters from this one may appear in others as well, some things can be explained better if you read through some of my other novels so you can see what was happening at the same time with another novel. I’m just saying you can tell when events are taking place at the same time.

He Didn’t Want One, But The Harem Was Inevitable

"My name is Setsuko Nishiyama! And I am a detective on the search for a new case and I believe I have found quite the scoop. Hehe, here's all the information I have as of now my friends!"


A board filled with pictures and writings held all her clues she had been collecting since the beginning of the year.


"You may be wondering what this all means and this is what I believe to be the greatest mystery hunt in my school's history. The subject of this matter is non other then the so called delinquent Higura Sato!"


She slammed her board making some of the thumb tacks fall out and she now scurried the floor looking for them so she wouldn't unexpectedly step on one in the future.


"Okay I think I got all of them now…Where were we…That's right! Higura Sato, a big mystery in himself. He is claimed to be a total dick to people yet I've collected unarguable evidence that it may all be an act! Where I got all this evidence I hear you ask? ….You're asking right? Of course you are!"


She took out a pair of glasses and flung them open. She put them on her face and wiggled them up and down as they kept sliding off her face. 


"Gaaaaahh! I give up with these darn things!"


She threw the glasses on the floor and kicked them to the other side of the room.


"Ahem! So, where did I get all this evidence I hear you ask again? I of course did the only reasonable thing and that is…! To plant cameras in places he frequently visits. Like the library in our school, his classroom, the back of the school and I of course took to the field myself to take video and photo evidence. I've even recorded some conversations he held with some girls he happens to talk to often."


She wheeled the board out of the room and brought in a projector next.


"Onto evidence one. As seen here the subject Higura is talking with a girl named Yoko. He talks in a rude manner but if you look closely at his facial muscles you'll see that he doesn't seem entirely okay. It's almost as if something was making him do this and what other reasonable answer is there then to believe he was faking the way he was talking! He may have been rude on the outside but maybe in the inside he was actually thinking that what he was doing was wrong but continued to keep up his act. I cannot think of any other reasonable answer but as to why he puts on a fade personality I still do not have a definitive answer. Hm? Did you say you don't believe he's faking it?! If you don't believe me quite yet then let's move onto evidence two."


She changed to video evidence this time and it featured the new environment of the library.


"Here he is talking with a girl named Kanna and he is very clearly being kind to her. Why is this? Why is it that he acts nice to her but not the other? Simple! She knows about his false personality so he chooses to be his true self when around her. You don't believe that's what's going on? Well I will now play my video I so brilliantly recorded behind the bookshelf they were holding this discussion by."


She played the video she recorded which depicted what happened in chapter forty three, visit that chapter of you wish to hear what she recorded.


"What do you think now? Believe now? If not I unfortunately can't show anymore of my evidence as it is still being investigated but I swear I will get to the bottom of this great question! Tune in next time for when I confront him mys-!"


"Mom?! Why did you just barge into my room like that?!"


She jumped over and turned her camera off with the last frame having a very embarrassing look on her face.
