Ready Belle.

𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕:

Today is the day, and everyone in the whole dark realm were happily excited. But Eeve was beyond nervous. She never felt like this before, but today is different! She was feeling anxious, nervous, and excited to finally meet her mate. She always dreamt of having a mate who would love her with all her perfections and flaws. But she never thought that her enemy would be her mate, and she would be fighting with him just to prove her mate that she's capable of protecting the dark realm.

Eeve's thoughts got interrupted when she felt a hand on her head. She was currently sitting in front the mirror in her chamber. She looked up and saw Izan staring at her with mixed emotions. She smiled up at him and asked, "What's with you!?" He smiled brightly and pecked her cheek. "I am so happy for you!!" Eeve stood up and hugged her only soul friend. "I know, kid!" She said and patted his back before pulling away.

"Get up and bring your ass down!! They will be here at any moment!!" Izan suddenly yelled scaring the crap out of Eeve. She smacked on his head and did as told. They both went down stairs to the great Hall and saw everyone were sitting there with happy smiles on their faces. She was happy because her coven was happy. She couldn't ask for more. She smiled and went to her father.

Aiden sat up from his throne and went to his daughter. "I am so proud of you my daughter! Let's go to the Arena. We were notified that they are already there!" And here comes back the anxiety!

If she was a human, then her heart would have pounded in her chest threatening to jump out of the rib cage. "And, not everyone from the Royal Palace are coming to the Arena. It's just your mate and his father, Ignacio. And their guards." Eeve was relieved to hear this but still anxious.

They all made their way to the Arena that was outside their castle. As soon as the gates of Castle opened, A breathtakingly sweet and musky scent fogged her mind. She stopped in her tracks and closed her eyes taking in the heavenly dark scent. Her father and Izan understood what was happening, so they just smiled and waked past her giving her time to take in her mate's presence.

And derik on the other hand was trembling in pleasure. The sweet lavender scent filled his nostrils and fogged his mind too. But he was quick to spot his mate and sprinted towards her. Derik stood right in front of her and smiled widely at the beautiful vampire who had her eyes closed. As Eeve sensed her mate's presence near her, she opened her eyes and saw her utterly handsome mate. He had smokey grey eyes with Raven hair, and plump lips.

Derik was taking in the beauty in front of him. He do know that female vampires are utterly gorgeous but Eeve is next level of gorgeousness!

Their eyes sparkled at the sight. No words were spoken untill someone cleared their throat and stood beside them. They both whipped their heads in annoyance at who ruined their beautiful moment, but quickly composed them selves and bowed to them. The two Kings were standing side by side and looking at them with so much adoration.

"If you're just going to stare at each other then we could cancel this fight or whatever you named it!" Igancio spoke with a mocking glint in his tone. "NO!!" Eeve and Derik both said in unison and looked at each other.

"Okay then what are you waiting for!?" Aiden said and motioned them to go towards the circle. "So, none of you will use your claws, teeths, or your vampire powers! This fight will be a traditional fight with the swords. Just don't rip each other's heads!" Igancio stated the rules and stepped out of the circle handing their respective swors.

Izan was quick to run towards Eeve. He pecked her cheek and hugged her tight. He turned towards Derik and Walked up to him, he leaned towards his ear and said, "If you don't like her, you have an option right in front of you. If no, then you're missing the precious being in the realm. Too bad, you already look whipped for her." He said and pecked his cheek too. Eeve laughed at him cause she heard what he said. "Move away from my mate!" Eeve said between her giggles.

Derik was beyond surprised to see the boldness of Izan. He looked at him and smirked, "If she wasn't this beautiful and my mate, I would have definitely picked you as my mate." Derik said and winked at Izan who gasped and ran out of the circle. Derik chuckled at the cute boy.

Now, they both looked at each other and aligned their swords in front of them. "Ready, Belle!?" Derik asked with a mischievous smile on his face. Eeve nodded and charged towards him. Derik easily dodged her and went behind her caging her between his arms. His one hand holding her by her waist and the made it's way towards her hair.

He ruffled her messy bun and made her greyish silver fall on her neck and on her back. Eeve was quick to react, she finally got out of his grip and looked at him in disbelief. "Beautiful!" Derik said with dreamy eyes and charged towards her and Eeve easily dodged his attacks many times and defended herself.

Now derik smirked and again caged her between his arms with in a flash. This time, his both hands holding her by her waist making it impossible for her to slip out of his grip. Derik took this as a chance and dived his head in the crook of her neck. He left a few butterfly kisses on her neck making her go week in her knees. How is she supposed to fight when her mate is being a brat and kissing her on her neck!? But she quickly got back to her senses when she felt him sniffing her.

Derik was intoxicated by his mate's scent. He sniffed her neck and didn't realise that, Eeve nudged him in his stomach making him fall on the ground. Eeve stood on the ground with her sword on his neck. Derik looked unbothered and smiled at her. He can't believe he just lost a fight and is still smiling like an idiot.

"Distraction is the first step to failure, Bun~" Eeve smirked and extended her hand towards him. Derik smirked back and pulled her makin her fall on his chest. He quickly pecked her lips and smiled mischievously at her. "If the distraction can get me to a failure like this, then I am ready to get distracted, Belle!" Derik smiled and again pecked her lips as he held her waist gently.

Eeve's eyes went large, she didn't expect this coming. Everyone who were sitting in the Arena were shocked to see this too. But they all smiled nonetheless. They'll all have a Great King and Queen in the coming days.

Izan ran up to them and said, "Okay two of you, Get a room. I don't wanna see you mating right here in arena." Izan said looking annoyed but deep inside was bursting in happiness. His soul friend finally found her mate!!

Eeve glared at him stood up. "Shut up!" Derik stood up too. They saw Aiden and Igancio waking up to them, They all bowed to the Kings. "Time to go, Derik." Igancio chuckled and said. Derik looked at Eeve and smiled at her. "It's time to go, Belle. But we'll meet soon." He said and left a lingering kiss on her forehead and then pecked her lips. Hell he will never get enough of those sweet and luscious lips. Eeve smiled sadly and hugged him. "we'll meet soon!" Eeve repeated the sentence again.

They all bid their good byes and went back to their castle. Eeve directly went to her chamber and of course Izan was trailing behind her.

But someone wasn't happy to see this at all!!
