Tempers flaring!

"Here comes the Action Man; protector of the multiverse… Action Man!" Zinbad started to sing an extremely awful version of the opening theme of the show.

"Stop it! You're ruining the theme song of the greatest show on Earth." George couldn't handle the worst rendition of the iconic song and pleaded with Zinbad not to do so.

"Do I look like I care? But, speaking of caring, you do care quite a bit about Action Man, right?" Zinbad asked.

"Yes, he's the greatest!" There was a bit of pride in this statement.

"Then I do believe that you might just care about this!" Zinbad showed George something that let his jaw drop open.

"Oh my god! Mint condition collector's edition super rare 32X3P version Ultra Action Man action figure! That was a lot to say, I know! But, never in my life have I seen one like this, live in front of my eyes! This is so precious! Is it real though?" George took a good look and checked its authenticity with his discerning eyes. "It is! Zinbad, where the hell did you get this?"

"Oh, this little thing? My stupid friend thought that it was cool to give me a toy for my birthday. You can keep it though, for real!" Zinbad assured him of that.

"It's not a toy—it's a fucking action figure, you numb nut!" George was furious about it being called a toy. "But, can I really keep this? It is really costly, you know? More than you can ever imagine!"

"Really? Maybe I should keep…" Zinbad thought of keeping it as he let his greed take over before Tanya interfered.

"You could just let us in for that!" She put forth her proposition which made it hard for George to choose.

But, Zinbad was not happy with this proposition. "No, what are you doing? My cash cow!"

For George, this was a once in a lifetime opportunity that he didn't want to miss. So, he agreed. "Okay, just this once."

"Cool!" Tanya was satisfied with the result as she headed into the club.

"Not cool! You better pay me for the toy!" Zinbad threatened George, to which he agreed to, albeit being pissed off since he called it a toy yet again. He chased after Tanya upon hearing that.

Relieved by the fact that he might actually be getting something out of that toy, Zinbad entered the club. Like an experienced sailor in the rough shores, he instinctively headed towards the bar and sat right before the barkeep, an old man who was also the owner of the club, and ordered as usual. "Stu, the usual, please?"

"Sure. Wait, the fuck are you doing here?" Stu reacted naturally at first before noticing that it was Zinbad, who sat before him.

"Well, George let me in, so I came in." Zinbad decided to crack an unfunny joke. No one even considered it as one.

"Fucking George! I specifically asked him not to let your sorry ass back into this club. I might have to teach him a flipping lesson when you get out." He looked at both Tanya and Zinbad. Neither of them moved. "What are you waiting for? Get your sorry ass out of here!"

"Stu, don't say that! We're basically family, aren't we?" Zinbad tried to emotionally blackmail Stu. He made Stu remember all the good times before Stu came back to his senses.

"Family, huh? A family doesn't fuck each other up every other time!" Stu replied.

"Don't you watch any soap operas? That's exactly the thing that families do!" Zinbad and Stu bickered at each other like kids.

"What happened to the club? Why is it so empty?" Tanya interfered with the pointless bickering.

"Who is she now?" Stu was confused about the identity of the new person beside Zinbad.

"Consider her my friend—sort of." Zinbad using the friend term didn't quite sit well with Tanya as she glared at him with piercing eyes.

"Well, asshole's friend! Ever since that one dumb bitch decided to disappear into thin air from the club, it's been like this. I don't know what the hell's wrong with the people!" Stu replied to Tanya's question.

"Oh Stu, you shouldn't have said that!" Zinbad shook his head in dismay.

But Stu didn't care. "I'll say whatever the hell I want! Who the fuck are you to say otherwise?"

"The dumb bitch you just talked about—she's my sister. She's been missing for a week now." Tanya said much to Stu's dismay.

"Oh sorry, I didn't know." Stu felt guilty. He dragged Zinbad closer and whispered. "What the hell, Zinbad? You should've told me earlier!"

"You never gave me a chance to!" Zinbad defended himself on that.

"I don't care about that now. What I care more about right now is the party that happened that night. Who were the ones that organized it? What events occurred that night? The number of people that were present—that kind of shit." Tanya chose to change the subject.

Stu sighed. "Sorry, kid. I can do nothing about it. There's a thing called client confidentiality and I've got to keep it. But I did put it aside when I talked about it to the police—because they're police. So, rather than asking me about what happened that night, it would be better if you went to the police and asked them about it."

"But, they're hiding facts about the incident. Why won't you give me what I need, old man?" Tanya's temper flared little by little.

"If they're hiding things, there might be a damn good reason to do so. It would be better not to mess with them. And as for me, I already told you, kid." Stu looked as if he couldn't help her anymore, even though he had all the info.

This took Tanya's temper over the breaking point. She got really close to Stu and got really aggressive on him. "Listen to me, old man. I don't want to do this, but if you compelled me, I'd not be hesitant to break your eighty-year-old jaw."

"I dare you!" Stu took his fighting stance. The tempers were flaring between Tanya and Stu and the one who felt the most nervous by this interaction was Zinbad.
