Hermes sighed. "Okay, on the day that Zeus expected the birth of the so-called Greek hero Heracles, the one he made with Alcmene or someone like that, you forced him to take an oath." He explained.
"Go on! Don't put me on a cliffhanger like that. What was the oath?" Zinbad asked. By this point, he was totally invested in the tale.
"Well, the oath was that the child born of Zeus' lineage on that particular would rule, quote-on-quote over all those dwelling above him." Hermes was about to continue with it, but Zinbad decided to interject at the right time.
"Aww, that's so nice of you. Like, Heracles is your stepbrother or something, right? You really cared about him, huh?" Zinbad looked really touched as he said that.
"Umm, Zinbad. Maybe you shouldn't jump into conclusions like that before hearing the entire tale. I mean, there's more to it, you know?" Addison grabbed Zinbad by his shoulder and spoke.
