Tanya Rogers; former police officer hailed to be one of the most skilled people in her department. Due to a sudden whim of sorts, she left the department and became a private investigator, who runs around looking for supernatural events, but to no avail.
"When will this craze of yours stop? You are not only wasting your own time and money, but mine as well. What are you doing with your life?" 
Her mother hated her for doing this. But she didn't care. She had something that her mother didn't know of- the ability to see spirits. Although people mocked her for it, she truly loved her job.
"Tanya, I need your help."
An event that caused her mother to meet up with her again; an event that paved the way to misery and tragedy in the life of the always carefree Tanya. 
An unknown man; disrupter of her life. Cause of her agony. The man that Tanya swore her revenge upon. The man that Tanya vowed to kill.

"What are you trying to say?" Tanya asked.


"Well, the guy who had been with you all throughout managed to vanish at the apt time. Don't you think that it's weird as well?" The Oracle asked back.


"Oh, no. It's nothing like that. I mean, I was the one who suggested him not to come. I knew that nothing good would happen by making him involved in it as well. I was afraid that the blood of two people would be in my hand that night if I dragged him with me. So, I didn't let him come even when he wanted to. And I don't regret forcing that decision on him." Tanya explained.


"Is that so? That's pretty brave of you to do something like that." The Oracle applauded just said Tanya completed her sentence.


"Nah, it's nothing like that." Tanya chuckled.


"Hmm, so it was after this that you met Addison here, huh?" The Oracle asked.
