Conversation with the Oracle

Addison didn't refuse the Oracle's offer. He took the seat beside her and stared at her for the longest time.

"You know, you could make this old lady blush if you stare at me so passionately like that." The Oracle hid her face after saying that.

"Nah, I don't think you'll do something like that. I mean, who are we kidding? You are a being who was asked to shed all those kinds of emotions, right?" Addison asked.

"Ah, well.. You're right about that. We've been taught to act indifferent to anyone that comes through that door, so yea." She nodded her head as she replied.

"So, what did you want to talk about?" Addison asked.

"Hmm, nothing much. I just didn't want you to get bored or anything. I mean, sitting alone waiting on your mates can be extremely boring, right?" The Oracle asked back.

"Huh… But that doesn't explain why you knocked them all out…" Addison mumbled.
