Tanya Rogers; former police officer hailed to be one of the most skilled people in her department. Due to a sudden whim of sorts, she left the department and became a private investigator, who runs around looking for supernatural events, but to no avail.
"When will this craze of yours stop? You are not only wasting your own time and money, but mine as well. What are you doing with your life?" 
Her mother hated her for doing this. But she didn't care. She had something that her mother didn't know of- the ability to see spirits. Although people mocked her for it, she truly loved her job.
"Tanya, I need your help."
An event that caused her mother to meet up with her again; an event that paved the way to misery and tragedy in the life of the always carefree Tanya. 
An unknown man; disrupter of her life. Cause of her agony. The man that Tanya swore her revenge upon. The man that Tanya vowed to kill.
The man- a vampire. A person without a soul. A person looking to die.
A vampire looking to die and a woman looking to kill the vampire, somehow band together in a journey to find his soul to give him the eternal rest he yearned for. But where will this journey lead to? Happiness or pain?

Rise of the Spirit Maiden

"Are you sure about that though?" Tanya asked as she stopped the vampire by his tracks.

"I mean, are you afraid now? Like, it's totally your choice…" Ambrogio shrugged.

"Ah… It's not that I fear for my life. It's more like I fear for the others. So, yea…" Tanya spoke as she turned towards the others around her.

"You don't have to worry about us as I said before. So, even if this is a trap, screw it." Zinbad smiled as he spoke.

"Ha… Good thing that we got a bunch of daredevils by our side." Tanya chuckled.

"So, all set, right?" Ambrogio asked.

"Yup." Tanya nodded her head as everyone simultaneously stepped into the cave.

It was pitch black inside. None of them could see anything… Or so was the case for the most. However, two could see clearly than anyone else.

Before them, Ambrogio and Tanya saw a giant figure staring right into their souls. And they saw the naive people literally walking towards their death.
