The boat to Hades

Charon was silent as he rowed the ferry forwards. It was silent to the point that everyone could hear the wind and the waters. And there were people who were terribly uncomfortable with this situation.

"Is your mouth sewed shut or something?" Atë asked.

"Huh?" Charon didn't get why the goddess would ask something like that.

"I mean, usually you just blabber non-stop and now you're just so silent. I don't usually see you do this, you know? It's just so… out of character of you." She replied.

"Ah, get used to this. This is my work face. If you don't like it, well then… deal with it." Charon spoke.

"Aah, this feels better. I mean, this is the Charon that I know of. This feels way better." Atë spoke.

Charon stayed silent for some time. "Welcome home, Goddess Atë." He mumbled.

"Huh?" Atë couldn't hear what he said.

"He said welcome home to you." Tanya jumped in and spoke.

"Shit." Charon mumbled again.
