Tanya Rogers; former police officer hailed to be one of the most skilled people in her department. Due to a sudden whim of sorts, she left the department and became a private investigator, who runs around looking for supernatural events, but to no avail.
"When will this craze of yours stop? You are not only wasting your own time and money, but mine as well. What are you doing with your life?" 
Her mother hated her for doing this. But she didn't care. She had something that her mother didn't know of- the ability to see spirits. Although people mocked her for it, she truly loved her job.
"Tanya, I need your help."
An event that caused her mother to meet up with her again; an event that paved the way to misery and tragedy in the life of the always carefree Tanya.

Elizabeth turned back to see the 'betrayers' rushing towards them at full speed.

"Fucking hell! Where are the people who were meant to stop these people?" She asked, looking all frustrated.

"Well, they are chasing the other group right now since you named it as the one with the most priority." One of the lackeys who was by her side replied.

"Wait. When I asked her to give priority to that, I didn't mean to neglect this one entirely. God, are all of my subordinates idiots?" Elizabeth sighed.

"My liege…" The lackey was having a difficult time at that moment. He was contemplating what to say. But finally, he decided to pull through and speak the truth. "My liege. We value your words more than anything. Sometimes we value your words a little too much, which leads to situations like this." He replied.

"What do you expect me to do, huh? Ask you guys to not value my words?" She asked.
