Christmas Eve's Dinner...

We sat on the wide boardwalk, facing each other, and watching the water move around us. I shove another fork full of pasta into my mouth from the Tupperware container and chew slowly. When I swallowed, I grinned at Aiden, fingering the shirt that I was wearing. "You should cook for me every day."

He smiled at me, taking a napkin and wiping the corner of my mouth with it. I smile at the gesture as he leans back, showcasing his abdomen. "You want me to be your personal chef?"

I took another bite of the food, esthetically nodding my head. "Yes, please."

I paused to look around us, setting the container beside me. I look at the freezing water beneath us that has eventually turned warm and the sun's rays reflecting off the waves. It was honestly a beautiful day. I raised my head, feeling the breeze brush through my face. I closed my eyes, feeling the cold breeze on my skin.
