Sneaky...

My eyes squinted open to adjusting to the daylight streaming through the curtains. My body shifted as I pulled my fluffy blankets over my head. I felt the absence of a presence that had been there before I fell asleep last night, nothing feeling right without the weight of an arm pulling me closer and the toned chest that sent electrons through my veins. I felt really tied considering I fell asleep around 4 AM, but that was nothing. 

I sat up and lazily looked around the familiar walls of my room as everything started coming back to me. I whipped my head to look over at my side when I noticed that the bed was empty. The blanket had been pushed to the side where he was, and the bed felt cold, meaning he had left the bed a couple of hours ago. I felt disappointment and discontent rush through me until I noticed the piece of paper on my side of the bed.
