Bruises...

I stood in front of the door and rang the doorbell at the side.

I waited impatiently, tapping my foot against the ground and twiddling my fingered together before the door opened.

He was wearing a muscle shirt paired with gym shorts with a snapback twisted backwards on his head. His face looked back to normal, but I noticed the slight scar on his lip.

"Athena, what are you-"

"I know about Addison," I told Drake with remorse.

I could see his eyes widen a small fraction before grabbing me by the forearm and pulling me inside. He closed and locked the door, dragging me to the back of the big house. He opened the window doors to the large patio that led to the open backyard. Drake sighed heavily and sat down on the bottom of the short wooden stairs. I carefully took a seat next to him.
