Having raised an Enchanting Demon before, Anthony was all too aware of the creature's weaknesses—there were always some issues that charm alone couldn't solve.
The Enchanting Demon batted her big, watery eyes and said pitifully, "It's not that I don't want to, it's just that the question you posed is too difficult. Ten bugs, each giving birth to ten children a year, and the bugs' children can give birth the following year, so how many will there be in ten years? Who could possibly figure that out?"
Negriss leaned forward, puzzled, and asked, "Is it that hard? Isn't it just ten times ten times ten times ten... equaling (XX)?"
The Enchanting Demon was baffled as she looked at Negriss, then back at Anthony.
Anthony spread his hands, an expression on his face that said 'it's so simple, yet you still won't do it for me.'
