Over the course of several days aboard the Floating Ship, Anvis was recognized by other new recruits twice.
Once by the son of a Marquis who was a subordinate to his family, and another time upon boarding, by a lesser Noble descendant who had seen his face from afar.
Both of them greeted him with great politeness and tried to invite him to dine at other tables.
However, after Anvis tactfully declined their invitations, both individuals also excused themselves with good grace.
After these two incidents, the clever Shirley continuously avoided asking Anvis about his surname.
She had a feeling that Anvis might be concerned that bringing it up in front of them could fracture the relationship between the three, so he deliberately avoided the topic.
After dinner ended, Anvis returned to his cabin. But before he could sit down at the table, the door was suddenly knocked on.
"Lord Anvis, you have a letter."
