Chapter 38: Jones's Trouble

A corner of the Keltos Continent.

Underground.

In the dim and oppressive space, Adolf lay silently in his Blood Crystal, motionless.

Compared to the last time, there seemed to be more "blood threads" within the Blood Crystal.

There was no wind here, the surroundings were silent as the abyss itself.

Suddenly, ripples spread across the surface of the Blood Crystal, and Adolf's body tilted slightly, falling out of the crystal.

Almost simultaneously, the fine sand below the Blood Crystal quickly condensed into a flat surface to catch him.

"Are you okay?" The blue mist coalesced into a human face, appearing beside him.

Curled up, Adolf trembled slightly, breathing heavily.

"I'm... I'm fine."

"You don't look fine."

After a while, Adolf finally caught his breath, lying there and panting heavily.

"I think you better not go any further. Your body is not fit for using any more Magic, especially spatial Magic. That's high-level Magic, it will put a heavy strain on your body."
