Alyosha then was silent for a moment, she was making sure what she heard earlier was not just a hallucination. And she also wanted to make sure that Ryou was in really good shape right now, not drunk or sleepy.

"I know you want to cheer me up, but can you find another topic to joke about?" asked Alyosha skeptically.

The look on Ryou's face was inexplicable. Between tense, flat, and also anxious. "I've never been making this up all this time. It's your brother who likes to lie. Don't you know that?"
