Chapter 31

The night was approaching; Axel had not finished his work, and Charlotte was already very sleepy. However, Charlotte still wanted to wait and tried to hold back her sleep until Axel returned. Unfortunately, he just fell asleep without thinking about when Axel would come.

Not long after that, Axel carefully entered the room; he knew that Charlotte must have been asleep and didn't want to disturb her. Today was a tiring day, and he wanted to get some rest to continue his work tomorrow.

After cleaning his body and also changing clothes, Axel immediately rushed to sleep. That night he saw Charlotte outside his blanket, and a sense of concern was aroused. Axel covered Charlotte and stared at his wife for a moment. He realized that Charlotte was waiting for him to fall asleep.
