Grains fall

Luke patiently waited as the grains of sand fell and the clocks rotated, he had enough food and water to survive, however a new issue arose, this issue was in conjuncture with the urban development project, as only those who benefited the private entity, for his mother a nurse worked under this company, allowing them residency.

the private entity in name was the venu corporation a large multi billion dollar company that had its hands in the construction business as well as being the financial backer of a guild named unsurprisingly the Venu Guild.

Without the support from his step mother he was seen as a leach as he contributed null to them, thus he was to be evicted with a month notice, although he could be employed under them however due to lacking any formal education and degree it would prove difficult.

He could of course work as a Porter who's job was to be akin to a donkey during raids, they carried heavy equipment supported the raiding team and fulfilled demands when necessary, infamously they were treated rather poorly, the pay was bad and they were to face harsh abuse both verbal and physical, the only positive was free housing.

However to Luke who had a month to decide it evaded his mind, he still felt a looming loss over his shoulders as for the person who cared for him and showed him motherly love was now gone although not his real mother it was as good as it could get.
