A low level commoner elf player dreams of becoming the #no.1 player in the world with riches and fame but there is one problem, the elf class is the hardest and most challenging class to pick in this video game and once you pick a class there is no going back. As Elton slowly climbs through the ranks facing dangerous challenges, puzzles, and monsters that he is so not prepared for he makes many helpful and strong allies along the way helping become the #no.1 player in the world.

Hardcore Grinding Elf Avatar

As I finished rolling down the hill, I darted up and dodged the boar. luckily rolling down the hill gave me time to regain stamina. I ran back up the hill to grab my dagger that I dropped.


"God dammit, when will this boar cut it out," I said to myself while grabbing my dagger.


"Fine, you want a fight, let's fight!" I charged at the boar as the boar charged at me.


The boar and I both shook from the impact of my dagger and its tusk. I shook my head to snap out of it and thrusted my blade into the top of the boar. THe boar shrieked as it evaporated into pixels. I did it! I killed my first monster! I leaped into the air, filled with joy. I even did a little dance.


"I did it, I did it, my first monster, my first monster..." I sang. I went on for a while longer, then stopped to glance at Daniel and Veronica. Daniel shot his hand into the air holding up a thumbs up as for Veronica. She sighed and mouthed "Good job."


After killing the boar I saw it respawn over by the pond. I smiled and was glad to see the boar was happy and living. I always had trouble harming and even killing animals so it warmed my heart when I saw the animals respawn even though they are just A.i. they still act and live like animals.


I ran back over to Veronica and Daniel.


"WHAT!? I only went up 5 exp!?" I shouted.


"Thats what you get for choosing the elf class. If you were any other class, you would have gone up to level two at your state." Daniel informed. I sighed.


"At least I got some suitable materials." I said while clicking on each material to see what they can craft.


"Yeah suitable for a beginner." Veronica said.


Veronica snickered as my face flushed red. Daniel joined in until they were both laughing hysterically. I didn't even get what was funny about it.


They both calmed down. "Once you are done resting and re gaining stamina, go find another boar to slaughter." Veronica said. Again!? I didn't want to fight another one, it was hard enough fighting one now I have to go fight another!


"Don't worry each time you fight you will slowly get better and faster. Its just part of grinding." Daniel said.


Once my stamina was full, and my health slowly replenished, I went on to fight another boar.


I fought and fought many boars for the rest of the days and nights while taking breaks in between for needs in actual life. I also needed to do daily quest within the game so I didn't lose any exp.


Daniel and Veronica both went off and did their own things while I fought boars. Obviously, they weren't just going to wait around and watch me. They told me to just text them in the guild chat once I reached level two.


I pumped my fist in a downward motion while using my other hand to wipe the sweat off my forehead. I was drenched in sweat from fighting all the boars. I must've had fought about 18 boars which might not sound like much but it took me a long time with how weak I am.


"Only one more boar and I'll be level two." I slid on my back towards a boar laying in the shade and slashed his legs off.


"REEEEEEE!!!" the boar cried out. I got up and sliced off the boar's head.


"Easy!" I leaped and waited for the screen to appear.


Yes, I was finally level 2. I opened the tab to message Daniel and Veronica.


Me: I am in the field, but I'll meet you in the town.


Daniel: OK! That will work since I'm already in town. I'm doing my shift at the potion explosion shop.


I closed the tab and dashed to the plaza. I was a little faster now.
