Book 2 : Chapter 21

Three hours later.

Whilst I was waiting in the gate for my plane, Leo called my mobile for about the five hundredth time. I sighed and switched off my phone. Leaving my family was hard enough. I couldn't deal with anything more right now- especially the rath of Leonardo Loren.

"You should talk to him," a kind voice said from beside me. I looked to my left to see an elderly woman sat alone with a little handbag on her knee. Her silver hair was in a cute bun with loose strands framing her face, that's wrinkles and lines only added to her friendly demeanour. She wore a baby pink cardigan and a long floral skirt. Beside her was a walking stick.

I looked at her confused as I wiped my teary, puffy eyes.

"You should talk to him. Whatever it is, talking can only make it better," she said placing her hand on mine.

I smiled gently but shook my head.

"I can't," I said the tears beginning again. "I don't expect you to understand."
