I placed James on the floor in the living room then I frantically looked for a medicine kit. James was breathing heavily and was white as sheet. I poured alcohol on his wound and he screamed in extreme pain. I ripped his shirt using the spear and I covered the wound with bondages and wrapped it tightly with ripped cloth. I just followed all the procedures that I saw in medical movies. I just hope those were at least ninety percent accurate.

James immediately lost consciousness as I relieved myself on the floor. The door suddenly crashed open and I saw Gregory and others with a worried look.

"DARYL! JAMES! YOU GOT OUT!? THANK GOD!" Gregory exclaimed in a joyous and worried voice,

"We should be." I said as if I am out of aspiration,

"OH MY GOD! JAMES! IS HE OKAY?!" Kristen exclaimed,

"I think so. He is sleeping now but I want you guys to look at his wound because I don't know a thing about first aid." I replied,

People immediately looked at James' wound.

"How did you guys escaped?" Gregory asked,

"Umm… We opened the door and went out?" I replied awkwardly,

"But… But… After Sheila went out the door, the door immediately vanished." Gregory said,

"We thought you and James are already stuck inside the basement." Jane said worriedly as she handed me a T-shirt,

"Where is Sheila by the way?" I asked as I grabbed the T-shirt and put it on,

"Sheila is resting in the living room in the estate now. After the door disappeared, we frantically rushed to her to stop from getting out but we were too late as she exits the door. We told her that you guys might get stuck in there after someone went out of the door. She was so shocked that she immediately lost consciousness as we hurriedly carried her to the estate." Steph answered,

"Stuck? But we got out. We are evidences." I said doubtfully,

"Dar… Venus and Claire are stuck in the basement." Gregory said downcast,

"What?!How?!" I exclaimed,

"I don't know. After me and Troy got out of the door, before Venus and Claire get to step out of the door, the door immediately vanished." He answered,

"Can't they just open the door from the inside like what we did?" I asked,

"Then they wouldn't be stuck in there if they did that. For all I know, they must have already tried that but they haven't showed up. I'm just scared that they could get stuck in there by a day." Gregory said with his gaze downcast,

"That is why… That is why… we want to know how you guys got out. Your situation shouldn't be too different from them." Gregory muttered.

We, again, got ourselves feeling helpless.

"Wouldn't the basement door shows up tomorrow again? Maybe that time, we can help them get out." I said,

"We also thought of that. It's relieving that a solution is at hand." Gregory sighed,

"Oh yeah. Here you go." I suddenly remembered something and handed Gregory the two pieces of papers inside my pocket.

I didn't really fully examine the paper so I am clueless as to what is written on it. All I really want is to sleep because I have been walking for hours and I already drained all energy after carrying James out of that room.

I mustered the will to lie on the nearest couch.

"Guys… Let… Let me sleep for awhile." I said in the open as I closed my eyes and immediately fell to my slumber.
