So the teams were decided. 1st team going to the triangle which is probably the cave are Gregory, Jefferson and Johnny, they will just see whether it is really a cave but will not even approach even a centimeter near it. 2nd team going to the square are Steph and Wesley, 3rd team going to the circle are Jane and Jasmine and the last team going to the 'X' is me and Kristen. James and Sheila couldn't join the venture since both are injured and hampered in walking and Troy may still be mad so we didn't bother to call him for help yet. We waved goodbye to Gregory's team as Kristen waited for me just outside the wall opening. I have to be firm, I know to myself that I am scared but nothing will happen if I won't do anything.

"Let's go?" She asked,

"Sigh. Yeah. Lets go." I said in a cracked voice,

"Dar! Wait!" We both stopped our tracks,

"Na… Nadia?" Kristen said,

"What are you doing here?" I asked,

"Let me… Let me go with you... Gregory is right. I can't stay scared forever. I want to help too but if I keep my fear of seeing those things blocking me then I will just become a hindrance to you guys. That's why… That's why let me tag along. Please?" She said downcast,

I patted Nadia's shoulder for her bravery.

"Okay. Stay close guys." I firmly said.

----

The three of us walked to our destination. I firmly gripped Kristen's shoulder as Nadia gripped Kristen's arm. Both of us have seen the faceless personally so we are both crippling in fear.

"Guys! You are making me tense too." Kristen complained,

"Sorry, ten. I'll guard the rear and my side. Nadia can guard her side and you can guard the front." I said,

Nadia who is shaking vigorously keeps pointing her phone to her side.

"You're going to get your phone drain its battery faster Nadia and its daytime so at least let it save energy. Daryl has a flashlight so he will react fast and give us light easier." Kristen said,

"Yo-yo-you're right." Nadia agreed yet she still hasn't place her light down.

"Sigh. I thought you were going to lead us Dar being the man here. So what was that competent and dependable front you've shown earlier? I thought I could have placed my trust on you back there." She sighed,

"Sorry! I'm too scared too you know and didn't we strived for gender equality so be the hero now and I'll happily be the lady in distress." I replied,

"Wow…Even though I'm scared too." She sighed,

"Isn't that a door?" Nadia pointed straight,

"Hmm… Yes… Yes, it is." Kristen said.

We approached the door standing in the middle of nowhere. The door was surrounded by a metal fenced wall you keep seeing in the gothic period, about 10 feet away from the door, the door being the center of it. The fence is about 6 feet tall and only has one wall opening.

"Is this the X in the map?" Kristen said,

"Hopefully…" Nadia replied,

I tried turning the doorknob. "It's locked."

"Well, even if you did open it. It wouldn't lead anywhere right?" Kristen asked,

"You do know that Door appear and disappear out of nowhere right? So this one should not be an exception. Let us not bring rationality and logic to this place." I said,

"Sarry okay.Sarry… It has one doorknob. Hmm…" Kristen inspected the area surrounding the door.

Nadia is still pointing her phone to her surroundings, she is wary about the faceless than the actual discovery here.

"Something is written on it… 'Spread the golden light and the end will be unlocked.'… it says. So X marks the spot then." I read what was written on the door. I tried pointing my flashlight on it but nothing is really happening. It is still lock. Kristen took a photo of the door and what was written.

"It says golden. Your flashlight isn't golden." Kristen said,

"It also says spread. Not specifically spread to this door. Maybe somewhere around this place has a golden light. The sun is golden yet it's still locked. Hmm…" I said,

"GUYS, CAN WE GO NOW? WE HAVE ALREADY CONFIRMED WHAT THE 'X' IS RIGHT?! WE CAN THINK LATER!" Nadia still wary,

"Yeah. I think we have inspected this place thoroughly. Let's go back now. I'm getting the chills just by staying here. You did take pictures right?" I said,

"Yeah. I did. Let's go back. You guys look like you have PTSD or something. You already have OCD, Nadia. Let's not add another mental disorder to your well-being." Kristen said as we started going back to the compound.
