Chapter 12

Foster gave me a lift to school like every other day, but I didn't miss the pointed look he gave my tattoo sleeve which was visible due to the fact that I wore a short sleeve today. I didn't miss the pointed look he gave my ink.

I told him to not bother with waiting for me after school because I would be getting mine today if my plans came through.

Wednesday morning started with physics and after trying to understand what Mr. Harrison was trying to teach us for almost an hour, it was safe to say that I don't even remember today's topic and I was ready to start a witch hunt so as to find the bastard that created the subject.

Pitchforks and all.

Computer came next. I had it with Tobias, Foster and Riely but I was surprised to see Robin seated with them.

I marched up to her with a scowl and she tried to hide behind Tobias.

"Robin" I gritted out in greeting, "what the hell are you doing here?"

"Quit swearing"

She had the audacity to sniff. And I ground me teeth making her swallow.

"Y-you have computer second period too? What a coincidence" she muttered sheepishly and my scowl hardened.

"Aren't you supposed to be on your way back to Oxford?"

She dramatically smacked her forehead, "oh my God! How terrible. I must have missed my way to the airport"

Riely snickered.

The teacher chose this very moment to walk in and ordered us to settle down.

Immediately after the bell rung I grabbed Robin before she escaped and shoved her into the nearest janitor's closet, locking the door behind me.

"Start explaining" I almost growled

"Explain what? I already told you I moved here" she rolls her blue eyes.

"You are moving back. I'm going to speak to Brad"

"Why are you making a fuss out of this, George?"

"You cannot just interrupt your life because of me, Robin"

"I'm not interrupting my life because of you" she scowled back, "I moved down here because I can't bear to look at the faces of those bastards that got you expelled everyday! What's so wrong about wanting to be with my best friend?"

"There's nothing wrong. It's just-"

"Then what's the problem?" She interrupted

I sighed, my shoulders slumping forward and she wrapped her as around my lower back she was short compared to me.

"Just remember you have me, and I'm not going anywhere"

She released me and I nodded.

I didn't like it one bit.

TOBIAS

We were hanging around Elliot's locker. Elliot and Riely squabbling as usual before something caught Riely's attention.

"Elliot isn't that your cousin?" Riely asked

The four of us watched as George and Robin exited the janitor's closet. The blond adjusting her skirt and hurrying after Georgia. We stood in silence for a second before exchanging looks.

Foster raised an eyebrow at Elliot who responded with a deadly scowl .

"Are those two..." I trailed off, forcing myself to swallow the boulder that was rising in my throat.

Elliot scratched his head "I know my cousin is pansexual"

My heart stuttered, "and if my memory serves me right, I think she told me George is straight"

It suddenly felt like I could breath properly again causing me to frown at myself. What the hell was this.

"Are you sure, Elliot? You know you are as dumb as a door knob" Riley butted in.

"All my classes are advanced, dimwit"

"That doesn't mean shit"

"Of course it does!"

Foster slugged his arm around my shoulders and steered me in the direction of our next class; English. The other two going the opposite direction.

Soon it was the period after lunch, the hallway was busy. Students walking to their next classes, some slowing down and staring at Georgia's tattoo sleeve until a whirlwind in form of an Asian woman with blue... dreadlocks walked through the entrance.

GEORGE

"Boss" I hear the unmistaken voice of the woman currently in charge of my companies and my assistant.

Isabella Park.

Her honey colored eyes flicked over to Robin, recognition passing through them.

"And the Lady Bird" Isabella drawled. Robin frowned.

"You were supposed to be here hours ago" I tell her, my irritation showing.

She straightened her white blazer and gave a one shoulder shrug.

"I had a meeting I couldn't reschedule this morning and it's not like there is any harm done" she replied

"Brooklyn?"

"Manhattan"

I closed my locker and found out quite a number of people staring at my general direction.

A 5'11 curvy brunette, a petite blonde with blue eyes that had gold flecks, and a sexy as hell assistant with blue dreadlocks.

What a goddamn lot.

Isabella whistled and tossed a key at my face almost taking my eye, causing me to glare at her.

It was a car key that read Nissan.

"I asked for a Bentley"

Robin muttered "entitled brat" under her breath but I paid her no mind.

"You said you wanted to blend in" Isabella rolled her eyes, "a Bentley would do the opposite".

"Isabella I swear if you don't change this car I'll-"

"-be capable of doing absolutely nothing. I have to be in France in four hours"

I sighed in defeat.

"It's not the end of the world. It's just a Nissan Pathfinder"

"Yeah, yeah" I rolled my own eyes

"I'll be on my way boss" she bowed a little at Robin's direction, "Lady Bird"

When she walked out, the crowed parted for her and some kept on pretending they weren't eyeing Robin and I.

"Fucking high schoolers" I cursed and Robin laughed.

"I have Data Processing. I'll see you later"

She told me. I nodded and proceeded to hurry to my AP Calculus class. It was bad enough a mathematics derivative was placed in the afternoon, I didn't want to sweeten the deal by arriving late and earning a detention after school.

The teacher in charge snored like a freight train.
