My Little Moon

"Mr.D, she came online. Do you want to talk to her?" Kevin interrupted his thoughts.


"Excuse me, George, I have to get this. On second thought, would you like to see her?"


I wasn't sure if I should or not. But I was pretty eager to know who is this mysterious girl is, that he seems to guard like a precious pearl.


"Mr.D do you think it's ok. If not I will be delighted to see her". I smiled.


"No, she won't. As she's the scriptwriter it's better for you to get along with her. You can see her on the big screen." he went to start the video call.


A petite figured girl appears on the screen with her towel wrapped around her hair, a bit far from her computer. She seems lively and happy.


"What did I tell you about having a bath in the evening?" Mr.D asked her angrily.


"Sorry!! I won't do it again... but the weather is so hot these days", she replied to him in a soft soothing voice. "How are you these days... what happened to the new script I sent, Boo".


She asked him while coming closer to the computer, so I got to see her face a lot clear.


"The script is pretty good, Little Moon. I think this is the best you wrote so far"


"Really... you think so.... Are you selecting actors at the moment?"


"Still going on, why do you have anyone in mind?" he looked at me with a cheeky smile.


"I told you, I want George to be the lead.. but, you never listen.." she said angrily.


And here I was wondering how she knows about my acting skills. I also realized that I have seen this face before.


"May I know why you want him to be the lead, Little Moon ?" he looked at me.


"His eyes are similar to your expressive eyes.." she said looking down.


"Well, not 100% but still at least 85% the same" She looked straight on the screen.


"Mr.D, why does she resemble StarDust in Instagram? " I inquire him as I was not sure I am seeing her for real.


"Yes this is the same person George, the girl you have been chatting to, the past one and a half years. I got to know about you from her. "


I was speechless, so the girl I have been chatting to all this time is Little Moon. The girl who helped me during difficult times, who bought laughter when I am not in a mood. I have never seen her on a video call, but we have been chatting a lot to have a special bond. Which made me feel like I have known her all my life.
