Shhhh....I am here...

I talked about work with Lee and arranged some time to do a few live broadcasts. Apart from these, I thought of what happened today. It was Little Moon who doesn't want to be overly protected at home, so she made a rule unless it's a high priority she will not have security at home. The more I thought about it I realized, the most favorable place to be a danger zone was her home.

She was fast asleep. I watched her calm face, which hides a lot of burdens inside. Never had she thought of letting them out because everyone near and dear to her will feel worrisome of her. This what she tries to avoid most. In truth, she's broken inside. But the outer world sees her as a happy accomplished individual with everything in the world. Then again, don't we all assume everyone is like that concealing the sorrow but showing happiness to others?.

I suddenly wake up by a little noise near me. She was having a nightmare, silently shifting in the bed. What might be worrying her? I have no idea as Mr.D never told me about this and she seems too peaceful during day time. Maybe she is like this most nights. Silently going through it all herself.

"NO! I didn't do it... please let me go... " she was talking in her sleep.

"Please don't..."

"Why do you do this Amy"

"I didn't do anything..why me.."

"NO!!!! LET ME GOOOO !!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!" she screamed loudly.

I hold her tight with a hug. Making sure she feels secure. Little by little she seems to calm down and open her eyes.

"Hi, Little Moon, you are ok..." She holds my hand tight and looks into my eyes,

"Brother D, please don't go.. I am afraid of Amy " She is still half asleep and she didn't realize I wasn't Mr.D.

"Why are you afraid of her, did she do something to you?" I was curious to find out what was bothering her so much. She started crying. Her whole body shaking as well. I was worried about the stitches on her shoulder wound.

"She threatened to make me... "

"What will she do?" I asked holding her.

"Find a way to make me blind, so I cannot see you or do any work." I looked at her in surprise.

Surely Mr.D doesn't know about this. But first I have to calm her down and make her go back to sleep.

"Shhh... No one will harm you when I am around. Now go back to sleep like a good girl." I hold her hand after tucking her back into bed.

"Promise you will stay?"

"Yes, I promise." I watched her fall back to sleep.

She looked like a little girl, with my hand tucked near her chest. I placed a few hair strings from her forehead near the ear. Without even knowing I gave her a soft kiss on her forehead.

"Brother George.." I saw Ted watching me at the same time. I asked him to stay quiet.

"Couldn't sleep?" I asked Ted.

"Yes.. I was worried about her." Looking at her sleep peacefully holding my hand.

"She mistook me to Mr.D." I explained.

"It's ok. You and Mr.D seem to have a lot in common. No wonder she wanted you to be the lead." He smiled at me.

"Do you and Mr.D know about the nightmares she has"

"Was she.."

"Yes, she did.." I looked at her.

"Did she tell what is it? " asked Ted anxiously.

"It seems some time ago, Amy has threatened her."

Ted was fuming up with anger. I gave him a gentle pat to calm him down.

"What was she threatening about?"

I looked at Ted, should I tell him. If I do he will surely be in full rage, but if I don't Little Moon will be in danger. At the same time, she was murmuring slightly, which may be due to the pain in her shoulder wound.

"Hmmm... to make her go blind."

"What the...." Ted was furious. "I have to tell Brother. We couldn't find out the reason for her nightmares."

"Be thankful you found out this before something happened. And if you are telling Mr.D, tell this to him calmly. Don't make him worry too much, because of his health."

"What if I tell this to Kevin first, so he can tell this to Brother at a proper time?"

I nodded approvingly to Ted. This is the best way we can give this message to Mr.D. He will be more worried and overly protective of her now.

Ted seems to be focused on some work, while I went through some advertising shoot contracts. But my mind was wondering about the script and Little Moon and about Mr.D. I felt sorry for Mr.D, who was compromising his love for her safety and wellbeing. He really wants the world to recognize her talents.

I suddenly felt a slight touch on my forehead, which awaked me. I had fallen asleep on the side of her bed.

"Sorry if I woke you up." She said sleepily.

"How do you feel now. Does it hurt still?"

"I feel ok, but the shoulder wound hurts when I turn. Will I be able to get back to work soon."

"It will take about a week to heal." She looked worried. "Don't worry I will help you with the work. I also know a bit of graphics." I made a comic face and gave a little pat on her head.

"Do you want some tea?" She nodded yes. While I was getting her some tea, Ted came back to the room.

"You wake up, sis"

"Don't you have to go to uni?" still concerned about her cousin's studies.

"I will be going now." He looked at me and said," I met the doctor and he said you can go home in a few hours."

"Ok."

"I bought you guys some breakfast. Then I am heading to uni." He waved at me and gave a slight hug to her and left.
