As Mr.D was recovering while keeping in touch with the work progress, together we all were able to get the pre-production work done smoothly.
Little Moon has been managing the work, acting as the project manager for the whole production, which impressed me. Her workload was over her head, but she never complained but assisted in every minor detail when it's necessary.
Kevin and Lee had managed to find some well-known brands for the drama sponsorship in the promise of we will use a few of their products in the drama. All the actors of the drama were also contacted. We arranged a time to do a script reading together and to get to know our characters better.
I personally invited Little Moon to inspect and give criticism of the character's acts and how the feelings should be on scenes. She has the talent to know what is right and what is right. I was thinking she might deny this, but she accepted it willingly.
Lee arranged the time and place for the script reading, while I and Little Moon arranged to join them online. One thing Little Moon insisted on is not to show herself, as she feels uncomfortable with it. So I told her to listen and give us points on how the script should be read and how the feelings should be expressed. We arranged the studio for a day-long script reading in the coming days.
On the day of the script reading, Lee came online first.
"George we are ready are you and Miss Little Moon ready to join us."
"Yes. Is everyone there?" And I can hear a little hush going on. Lee messaged me,
"George everyone is talking about Little Moon. Maybe you need to explain."
I looked at her who was sitting beside me. They can only see her hand on the chair rest through the camera. She seems to compose and serious as usual. I gave a reassurance squeeze to her hand.
"Hi, everyone. Thank you for joining us for the script reading. First please apologize for not joining you all there for this as I am still here." I started off the live stream.
"Hello, Mr.George. We all have gotten our roles and we have studied our characters beforehand."
said one of the selected actors for the second lead.
"Happy to hear that. By the way, I need to introduce someone to you all. The lady sitting beside me is Little Moon, who is the scriptwriter of this play. She doesn't like to show herself so she'll be listening and helping us out with it."
They all acknowledged her and laughed at my comment.
"HI everyone. I am sorry it's just I am not comfortable on screen. Hope you all are ok with it. And let's hope for the best for the drama corporation." Little Moon addressed them.
And only then did I saw Mary's expression on her. I knew things are not going to go well with Mary, who has an obsession with possessing me to herself as if I were an object. Then only I realized I have set straight the relationship I have with Little Moon.
While we were doing the script reading, Little Moon helped a lot. Everyone was impressed with her knowledge and skill of explaining every scene-setting as it was already created around us. After about two hours we took a break. I thought of messaging Lee, as I need his help to sort out Mary.
We started our next session of script reading after a tea break. Little Moon bought me some cake and tea to have while casually talking with others. I know her face was briefly shown during those times making everyone wonder who is she.
I deliberately kept Little Moon near me. While we were discussing I kept holding her hand.
"George.." Lee talked to me and pointed to Little moon.
I looked at her to see her fast asleep while we discussed some of the main drama plots.
"Hmm... sorry guys.. She has been working on some CG scenes for the drama the last few days. She was feeling tired, even though she agreed to help us today." I placed my hand around her and got her close to me, so she can sleep peacefully.
"George, can we know who she is?" asked one of the young actors. I smiled at him.
"She is my other half."
I saw everyone looking surprised at me and Mary with a face that looked so angry.
"I know you guys want to know more about her. But she is still not ready to expose herself fully. "
"Oh!... so she is just a scriptwriter?" they asked.
"Not only that, she's the person in charge of creating the CG scenes. Actually, she is a multi-talented person with a heart of gold."
"You seem to know her a lot ... she isn't even beautiful as me as well. How can you fall for someone like her?" complained Mary, making others uncomfortable.
"Hmm... you know something, Mary," said Lee. "Little Moon is very kind and she has a good personality, not like you, who likes to make everyone disgraced or low level."
"Have you met her?" Mary asked surprisingly.
Lee nodded his head.
We went on discussing and selecting the scenes for the next script reading for another hour or so, and in hopes to get together in two days.
After ending the discussion I looked at Little Moon. She was curled up next to me holding my hand. She must be exhausted. Ted was also back from campus when I went to the pantry to make some tea.
"So Ted, how's your holiday plan?"
"I found some places along the coast. So the trip will not be tiring."
"What about the accommodation"
"A friend of mine has a luxury villa that he is willing to give us for half price."
"That's good. There will be about five to six people going altogether."
"Wow, this is going to be fun. I bet sis will be very happy. "
"I hope she will have some quality time with my mom too."
